Scoring question:
2 points: EACH "sushi" resource (fish/clams/crabs/rice) you control in 5AD

Do you have to have the tile improved for it to count, or simply have it within the sphere of your cultural influence? I assume it is the former, but just wanted to double-check.

As you guessed, the tile must be improved (ie the resource "connected") for it to count. You should be able to check your number easily just by looking in the city screen at the resources displayed on the right side. Or by hovering over the corporation benefits (0.5 food per sushi resource, for example).

So if we trade away a resource, it will not count, and if we trade for a resource it will count?

Just to clarify

You may want to reread the rule about not trading away "Sushi" resources.

Scoring question - I have 5 BC, and 10 AD for my save around the first scoring period. Which one should be used?

Actually, I think Qwack's question is half valid. The restriction is for getting sushi resources from the AI, not trading them to the AI. (Id est, the player can't increase his sushi resource count via trade.)

That's correct. You can trade away your own "sushi" resources if you want, but cannot receive "sushi" resources in return from the AI. I'm sorry if that's confusing; it had to be in the rules for scoring purposes! smile

You mean for the scoring, yes? A player can trade with the AI for sushi resources otherwise...

Ah I missed that part. But assuming we do trade away our sushi resources to the AI, will they still count as "being under our control" or will they not be counted in the scoring?
