Hi,
I've got a question about the Corporation Advisor screen (shift+F7): What exactly is displayed there? There are two columns with city names, and at first I assumed that on the left side, all your cities with a corporation are listed. But that is not the case: I've got two cities listed there, my Sushi's HQ city and another city with no corporation. If I select Sid's Sushi, that city is listed with stat modifiers (e.g., +3f, +10culture, -13g), but if I zoom into that city, it is displayed correctly with no corporation. So what gives?!?
That leads to the question, how do you count all cities with a certain corporation?

As far as I understand it, the screen shows the benefit the City would get if Sushi(or whichever corp you selected) were expanded to it.
As you have to count foreign Cities too, I suspect that you have to count all cities with the little Sushi-sign next to them on the world-map or you count the 'Sushi has expanded'- messages.
Anyone has a better solution?

Look at the capitol where it shows Sid's Sushi. It shows $4 and one city with Sid's. Each addition city with Sid's adds $4. If the total dollars are $16, then Sid's is in 4 cities (16 / 4).

I saw Sullla answer a question before this, so it may have been losts. I want to score my first timeframe tonight before I continue playing...

Under that situation, they would NOT count as being under your control. That's the tradeoff; you can trade away your sushi resources if desired, but they then don't count in the scoring. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear in the scenario description. I plead the need to have this game ready in a single day!
LK did a good job of explaining how to count the number of cities with your corporation present. Just open up the capital, and divide the corporate income by 4. (Note: this may not work if an AI civ with Sushi Corp. present in their cities is running State Property. I've never been in that situation to check it. Please bear this in mind; you can always just count the cities on the map by hand if you're uncertain.)

Beyond the Sword just had to go and switch all the dates around! 5AD used to be the first post-AD turn before the expansion came out. As sunrise indicated, the actual date we are using for comparisons is 10AD.

Note : It may not be always true if you receive (at least) one certain quest/event ...

Hello!
I'm a Prince lamb, but I'm looking forward to play it and compare some of my wrong things to the other players.
Start is juicy... I think that Archipelago (especially on Snaky Continents) is a map for those who like to expand their empire building. There's a lot of time to land the cities, and commerce to handle them. I don't know how I will compensate with a probable lack of production, though.

I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

These kinds of maps are perfect for using slavery and, later, drafting units. For more detailed advice, I'd suggest reading reports for previous games played on archipelago maps.
