Christmas New Years are coming up, so our college performers should be around for an etude or two sometime in the next couple weeks. This could be a good chance for us to gather an 8-man orchestra and orchestrate orchestral renditions of such classics as "Laying the Smack-Down" and "In Your FACE Noob." The virtuosoness of our performance will be a crescendo to the magnanimity of our fortissimo.

Anyways, GvG over the X-Mas break, who's in?

I almost surely won't, I'm sorry. I'll go back home leaving the computer in the college. I should have some free days between 19 and 23 December, then until after 6 or 7 January no GW for me.

And I'll miss yet another GW event... frown

Update: do you think a notebook with an Intel Duo 2.0GHz processor, 1GB RAM, XP, and a nVidia Quadro NVS 140M graphics card would be able to run GW?

If yes, there may still be hope because my university will gift me this computer...

You can run GW on an integrated graphics chip, so I don't see why not...

Quick search (aka not very thorough) says the graphics chip is about equal to an 8400, so yes, that should be able to run GW, in theory.

So, if there is interest, could we set a day and time so that we can group together? PUGing in the guild won't be very successful I think. And as I live in a different timezone, I'll need at least some pre-planning to participate.

Good news: if that laptop can run GW, in the holiday I'll have Vent access.
