First things first, capitals culture won't reach deer until t50. Slow build settler at size 2 yields settler t30. Lack of worker techs stinks, worker is idleish on t29, since grassland mine finishes t28 and bw comes in t30. Still running tests.

Yeah, I saw there were some run there. I just see that we're building a 2nd worker (seems dubious given that our first worker is farming a floodplains for lack of something to do), and I can't find anything listed in the MM thread where we build 2 workers. So,

Second worker bad idea, bw comes too late well be stuck building grass farms. I votes size 2 settler and mining then the wheel. Still working...

First sims done. I haven't tried Size 1 Settler, but that doesn't seem worth it since we're so close to Size 2. Whipping the Settler gives us it at T32 with no roads built, while slow-building it at Size 2 gives it to us T30 with the roads in place and the Worker ready to farm the corn. I still vote Size 2/Settler, Mining->The Wheel->Bronze Working.

Yeah, we're already size 2. This thread doesn't get updated; we're up to turn 19 I think. Size 2 and 12/60 into a worker

Will try to be more consistent for my part - just been really busy lately with family in town, and PBEM38 sucking up my little civ time. And honestly, I've felt rather bummed out with so little activity in our sub-forum. It seemed to me like the team had evaporated. Glad to see I'm wrong on that count.
Apologies for the 12 hammers in the worker and the auto-piloting Quechuas. I played the last couple turns in about 15 seconds each and didn't put proper thought into their movements our our build order.
thestick, if you want to take over as turn player for now, I would appreciate that - as you're most familiar with the micro for the next dozen turns. I think we've already seen that I suck at openings
