Settling on the Hill is probably better than 1S. Once we get a grainary, border pop shouldnt be too hard, and as Luddite said, if we go Mono, then that city would be the holy city.

Speaking of Judaism, what is the tech path plan for us? Are we going for Mono before writing?

When should we go for Mono? That is a good question. I'm thinking we want to get BW & Pottery first (especially with all those rivers to cottage around).

BW and Pottery should be first, but we can skip fishing, writing, hunting until we get mono...

Since we are spi we should make the most of it, go into org religion and judaism to get that 25% boost...I should think that judaism will spread to the capital soon after we found it, giving the cap a nice 25% boost in production...which will help with whipping and chopping...

Another thing, do we go for Hunting to work the Ivory?

We won't be able to work ivory until we build a granary or found Judaism. So may not be that urgent.

definitely not before we have BW and pottery. After that I'm not sure. Hunting and fishing would also be nice to have.

The Worker finished farming the floodplains. Do we send it to build a grassland mine or a grassland farm?

I thought the standard answer to that unless you have a very good reason toehrwise is food first early game (hence farm)

So um... I'm sorry to keep bringing up random new ideas, but there is one other plan we should consider. Menagerie's capital is only 11 tiles away... and we know there's no horses in the BFC... and we're inca. That is about the best possible setup for a quechua rush. If we wanted to, we could start building Quechua right away, and there's a good chance we could hit their capital with, say, 5 quechua when they'd have nothing to defend it but 1 or 2 warriors.

It might be too late to start doing somethign like that, and I'm not sure it's a good idea anyway, but I wanted to see what other people thought.
