Do you think Tasunke is guilty?

my thoughts on the Tasunke bandwagon (this is not a hint to whether or not he is scum)
I think he's too easy a lynch, and sloppy village play. Injera's point about this "just being Tasunke" is spot on, as anyone who played/lurked ww11 or ww12 should know. less so in ww13 where he lurked and didn't participate much.

If Bigger allows, and I can do so, then I will at least have a proper human name for when I die tongue

LOL. so the characters that aren't faction leaders, I didn't bother to give "names" (names as in Bob, Steve, Dan). I told Tasunke he could invent his own name, like Jkaen did. Rather silly of him to bring it up at the moment, instead of defending himelf.

Unfortunately, I think Tasunke cares more about having a name than rather he gets lynched or not. Generally WW players that don't really care if they live or die.. well they tend to die quickly.

Tasunke Wrote:So as a power claim I'm a neighbor, and my neighbor thinks I'm a mindworm ... doh! frown

Neighbor is Meiz by the way ... a very hairy and toothy and pointed ears Meiz!!! Alas, but I must test the fur samples to see whether they are Honey Badger or actual werewolf.
I'm sure Meiz won't be happy about Tasunke outting him, lol.

I'm not sure Tasunke will end up lynched. Still plenty of time for a direction change. I guess we shall see in 14 hours.

I'm lurking! Tho I didn't catch up on the thread yesterday so had nothing to say here ...

Who will be lynched first?
Who will be night-killed first? (wild speculation is allowed, since you don't have much data to go on here)
Will Tasunke role-reveal on day 1 once again? <G>

I think Tasunke seems the most likely lynch target (and obviously I can't answer question 3 coz he's already done it wink ) - Neighbour with alignment unknown doesn't stop him being a wolf, and he's acting weird. I think he'll turn out village tho, with just enough doubt coz of that book review post that I'd probably be voting for him today if I was in the game.

Meiz for first nightkill, unless he's a wolf (no feel for that yet really).

ah yeah, Tasunke wasn't quite as obvious when I asked that question.

Why Meiz (assuming he is village)? Just to prevent him from revealing any thoughts Tasunke might have had in their neighbor thread?

I have no idea. His posts make so little sense to me, especially his cnversation with Meiz. Did he really not think his initial posts in that thread would draw suspicion?
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

Nah, more just the way I tend to think as a wolf - short of real obvious power-role signs I tend to want to kill someone that gives the minimum possible information to the village. And in this case if Tasunke dies then Meiz then all people can say is "oh, looks like Tasunke told the truth, shame they died so early, a two village neighbour pair might've been useful" (edit: assuming that Tasunke is village, which is still up in the air). With the added bonus here that Meiz is often a very useful villager. I'm not sure it's a good strategy on my part but it's what normally springs to mind first when thinking of night kills wink

(edit: Coz of playing werewolf here I have great trouble persuading myself editing posts is fine on this forum, the DoNotEdit habit is so engrained lol )

yeah, I know what you mean. I feel a little guilty editing my GM posts, lol.

This controversy should make obvious how much weaker neighbors are compared to Masons. Masons are a very strong role, neighbors not so much.

So was Tasunke supposed to acting mad for his role? If so, he played it brilliantly, but the role seems designed to make him very suspicious. Not sure how I feel about that.
