I think it was a great deal for ManUre though - anytime you can spend 24MM on a 29-year old who has only played 1 full uninjured season in his career when you already have good strikers but your midfield is utter crap, you have to do it. tongue

I'm not exactly sure why MU wanted Van Persie, but now that we have him, I have to hope he does well. After all, SAF has proven time and time again he know what he does smile
