WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

Well, here's my current thoughts on the drone saga and everybody that's involved in it.

My mortality: Last night I got a confusing dream, and the only other person to recieve a dream so far was murdered last night in addition to the regular nightly kill that we've been seeing. Therefore, I'm very worried that I will be dying tonight, whether it's mindworm or some other form of delayed killing. Because of that, I really want to see a lynch of one of the drones today, because I know that one of them has to be evil, and if I die while they live then they'll have that self-jailer ability to protect themselves without a counterpart to be able to stop them.

Suspect Sareln: Of the two drones left: obviously I've had a big problem with Sareln's play. He's been lurking for the majority of the game, and has come up with his defences and arguments only when he's been in big trouble. He started the votes to lynch innocent Mattiemo, who I didn't think was acting very scummy at all. He's also leading the charge on Molach, who I'm not too sure about, but if Molach dies first and turns up villager then Sareln would have to die next anyways.

Suspect Molach: I do read Molah's thread posts as being innocent, but the rest of his play before that didn't necessarially read villager to me, and I'm not sure to what depths a wolf would consider going to try and show false innocence. I'd say i don't suspect him as much as I suspect Sareln, but if Sareln turns up village I'll have to think about it.

Why should I listen to you?: In my own defense, again, I'm trying to do what I can to take out any of these drone threats to the village. Due to my dream I think it's very unlikely that I'll be living out the night, which is why I wanna act now. I also think that what comes out of this Lewwyn & Friends vs. Selrahc & Friends debate will be useful, but since I think I'm sitting on a ticking time bomb I urge you to put aside that debate for now and see me out for today.

My Preference: Of the two, I will re-affirm that Sareln is my choice for the noose, due to his actions being more suspicious than Molach.

@ Bob: Yeah I agree, my name and role are fishy and I kinda hate them for it, but that's what I was given. I'll just offer up that I've been doing my best to be helpful to the village, and just ask you to hear me out for a day and see what happens.

You talk about the self-jailer part that jails them in the night. The night you know, when we villagers can't lynch anyone anyway.

What drone threats are you talking about? NAP-threats I understand (but there is no reason to believe that you can't be the NAPper as well), but drone threats?

Serdoa my top 4 are:

Selrahc
Zak
Sareln
Injera

First you've seen my case against Selrahc.

Second Zak is obviously not hunting wolves he's not even close to that. He's been lurking the entire game and he's still alive.

Third Sareln. Thing is I actually thought that Sareln's posts were indicative of him being scum. See the thing about Sareln is that he plays well as scum because he already knows what is actually happening. The two posts about me being innocent and there actually being a name seer are easy. They provide excellent cover but again its all about the setup and proving my innocence which as a NAP he would already know. It's not him deducing these things. Its him knowing and the providing a roadmap back to how one could have come to those logical conclusions. He does nothing to help point out who might be suspect. Then going after Molach is classic because its either him or Molach as drones so why not go after him now after he's done some other big organized cover posts. So yeah. Sareln's definately NAP IMO.

Fouth with Injera itseither him or Meiz and I think Meiz has been more helpful and Injera has been sliding further and FURTHER into the background as the days have gone by contributing less and less as we get closer to the end of days where things really matter.

Other people who are slightly suspect:

Brick
Meiz

People I believe are misguided Villagers:
Jkaen
Maniac

People I trust:
waterbat
Serdoa
Bob

People I think are villagers but don't know what they'll do:
thestick
molach

So here's the problem. We have 4 NAPs and if they work together they can basically stop any wagons against any other NAPs because they've got Jkaen and Maniac stuck on me. Basically the village has to work together. Serdoa can you talk some sense into Maniac?

Also village is there any way we can come to a consensus in the next 4 hours on a true lynch? If we lose today I think we lose the game.

ok, lewwyn as per standard after a dead day 1 and 2 is contributing now. Still think he is nap, but willing to switch off him for brick or sel
rahc if we want to reach a consensus

Well, I'll be honest Lewwyn, I still don't trust you in full. I simply can't because everything in me screams that there has to be more to your role then what you told us. BUT: I doubt you are NAP.

And that means lynching you is not what we want. I also agree with your reasoning against Selrahcs play till now, he really didn't do much more than hunting you. So maybe he is your counterpart. Though that means lynching him is probably not in our best interest either.

I just hope that Maniac and Jkaen (and all other villagers) can follow that logic and leave you two alone for now. I would really urge everyone to vote for Injera. Besides that I believe him to be a NAP, I also want to know if that story about a "anti-mindworm" power is true, or if both he and Meiz are NAP. I'm all the time thinking about if NAP maybe knew before the game started that no mindworms are involved and just decided in their pre-game discussions to "invent" them to lead the village astray. Those messages and pictures might be an indication for it. Lynching Injera should give us a clue whats going on for real. If he has an anti-mindworm ability, we at least will have some more ideas about the setup. And probably got rid of a NAP because, you know, thats the goal of the game.

What if we lynched Zak instead?

My issue is that while I see Injera as mostly NAP, he's last on my suspect list. He's the one I'm least sure of.

I am fine with voting for Injera, although I think Meiz is somewhat more suspect when it comes to the neighbors.

But to be clear, I'm voting for him because I think that there's a NAP among the remaining neighborizers (or whatever their official WW role is), because if there isn't then we're in a game with mirrored mason pairs (plus waterbat's thing), where the masons don't know they're actually masons and the entire thing serves no purpose but to produce mislynches. And I can't believe Bigger would set the game up like that (although that's a statement which I seem to find myself typing a lot now).

Finding out the truth about what "anti-mindworm" means is a useful side-effect, but is certainly not going to be my primary cause for voting for someone at this stage in the game.
