WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

I am certain that the picture was not Biggers idea nor his doing. And that means that chances are good that there is a third faction, as also indicated in the role-PMs.

Buf if the mindworms are a third faction with their own win condition that means that the wolves have to take care of them as well and have a much better chance to actually kill one (because they know some more names they can be certain are not mindworms). This is also indicated by Injeras role-PM, especially the part about winning when all threats to their conspiracy are defeated.

However, that all doesn't help us as we don't know where to look. But as I am probably dead after this night anyway, I'll go ahead and post my thoughts on the remaining players:

- waterbat: I get the feeling he is a villager, but that he can contact others telepathically doesn't make him a villager on its own. Also not that he talked with the name-seer or all that other stuff. Still, I believe him right now. Though keep careful watch, because he too often gives away information carelessly. Or at least it seems so, maybe its on purpose though. I'd rather attribute that to an overeager villager who hasn't learned when to keep quiet, but still, I am not fully convinced.

- Sareln: Again you get bitten Sareln by lurking all the time. Even if you are village you are actively hurting the village with your lurking because we have no clue. If you are village you might very well be a mislynch just because you decided to keep in the dark. Anyhow, I have you in the slightly suspect bucket.

- Molach: His diary probably really shows that he is a villager but I wouldn't put it out of reach that he did that as a wolf. I think Molach is competetive enough that he would go that extra mile. Still, more likely villager.

- BRickAstley: No idea.

- Lewwyn: Pretty sure he is not NAP. Not so sure he is village. Keep an eye on him and get him to finally tell you the whole story. Getting a fake name doesn't make sense together with the rest of the story he told.

- thestick: Probably villager. Hard to read though imo. Be cautious when he posts.

- Meiz: wolfwolfwolfwolfwolfwolfwolf - nah, seriously, I think the chances that he is a wolf are very, very good. Not simply for the role. Go back and read his interactions with Injera. Tell me you believe that was a villager and a NAP talking. Because I certainly do not believe it.

- Jkaen: Don't vote Injera? Seriously? Would a wolf be so obvious to save another one? I somehow doubt that. Yes it could be a try to get someone to post exactly what I posted now but that seems too desperate as we believe to have another 3 NAPs left. I'm leaning to villager but a good explanation is needed and soon.

- Bob: Villager.

- Selrahc: Villager. Stop hunting only for Lewwyn, ok?

- zakalwe: wolfwolfwol... ok, we had that already. Still his vote yesterday was really not helping his case at all. Together with the basically non-existent hunting he should be first or second lynch (I'd prefer Meiz first).

- Maniac: Unsure, maybe the third NAP. But I tend to believe that we only have 2 NAP left + the aliens + the mindworm. Might be wrong but I feel that 5 NAP + third faction is a little bit much. If not and we really just have 5 NAPs against us then after lynching Meiz and zak you should still have 2 mislynches left (and be down to 2vs1 at the end).

After the council meeting, Sister Miriam retired to her private quarters to pray. The day had gone well, the false prophet Cha’Dawn had been brought to justice, but she couldn’t shake a foreboding that some evil would happen to her tonight.

“Lord, grant me strength and resolve. Help me smite my enemies and rain destruction on the evil. If I must die, make me a great martyr, so that generations to come will see the power in your name. Amen.”

Soon, she drifted to sleep. But it was an uncomfortable sleep. She dreamed of slaughter, her people enslaved, false prophets and false gods. The chosen people of Chiron, like the chosen people of Earth, were in for great suffering. Despite this, there was some hope… could she save them?

Miriam was awoken from her slumber by a gentle nudge. Beside her bed stood the humble technician she had chatted with during a break in the meetings just the day before. “Yes,” she said to him. “What is it you need little one?”

He smiled. Suddenly his face contorted, the friendly smile turning into a hideous grin. Miriam flinched, but the technician was on her before she could react. She felt a large knife to her throat, and when she looked into his eyes he had transformed. Gone was the meek technician, in his place was a hideous beast, an alien of unknown origins, with large tusks protruding from his face and mouth. He held the knife close to her jugular and held her body and arms down with his massive body.

“Nay, though I walk through the shadow of death…” she whispered to herself. The beast laughed. A bellowing, evil laugh that filed her bones with doom.

“Your God: no help now human. Your death: at the hands of another god. NAP: soon transcends. Your people: our slaves. All of planet: our playthings.”

The creature let out another hideous below, and slit Miriam’s throat viciously and efficiently. As she felt life leaving her body, she witnessed the following scene:

A noise was heard from the doorway, and the beast turned around.
“You…. I’ve been expecting you.” The beast uttered some profanities in his native tongue that Miriam could not understand. The beast then moved quickly, attempting to throw the very blade he had slain Miriam with at his enemy. But he was too slow, a deafening sound rang through the room, and a lazer pierced his chest. His massive body quickly disintegrated, and his head, removed from its corpse, rolled onto Miriam’s lap. She died celebrating the glory of God in her mind, for her assassin had met justice.

Serdoa, Village Seer was martyred on night 4.
You are Sister Miriam, of the Believers. You are a villager.
Your probe teams have been equipped by God with special divining powers that allow them to look into a person’s soul. Once per night you can target a player and learn their true intentions. You will get a result of either “good” or “evil”. You will not be able to learn that player’s abilities.
You win when all threats to humanity have been destroyed.
Zakalwe, NAP double-voter was gunned down on night 4.
You are Judaa Marr, of the Planetary Usurpers. Your blood feud with the Caretaker’s has consumed most of your thoughts during your brief time on planet. You have, however, found time to join the NAP conspiracy. Using the unique technology of your people, you have assumed the form of a human talent, a technician, in order to attend the peace conference, and you may safely claim that role if necessary.

Battle ogre MK2: any vote you cast for Lular H’minee counts as 2 votes. This is an invisible vote that will not show up in any vote tallies (including the final tally), but will count if your final vote is for Guardian H’minee.
You win when all threats to your conspiracy have been eliminated, or if you control a big enough voting block to ensure this.
In the morning, the council members found Miriam, dead in her room, but with a strange smile on her face. Her hands gripped tightly the head of the evil alien.

Just to be clear you can put all of this 3rd faction nonsense to bed. Yeah, I didn't tell you guys everything. I didn't tell you I had a vig power that only works on Marr (if I hit anyone else it fizzles) and that it only had two shots. So yeah I tried to narrow the field by get a mass name claim. Then I worked on surviving until I had narrowed the field down. Then I got lucky that Waterbat contacted me and that he had met the name seer and that the name seer had scanned Molach and Sareln(the alarm wasn't raised so I assumed that) confirming they were drones. That helped me narrow to Selrahc, Jkaen and zak (I had wasted a shot on thestick Night 2 before we found out about the neighboring). Selrahc was cleared yesterday during the festivities or I would have wasted my last chance on him last night. SO yeah sorry you died Serdoa, but I think the trade off was better because it forced me into a 50-50 shot on Jkaen and Zak. After that it was easy.

Zak hasn't voted for me.
Zak tried to avoid the mass name claim.
Zak wrote a cheeky Usurper msg to me in Pink.

Zak is dead.
