Yeah, Elkad's post was for stating that he had played the turn. Apparently Mortius spoke without knowing that Elkad would be available to play (and I would have been available if Elkad didn't). I thought Elkad's post was obvious enough that when I posted I didn't say anything additional to the fact.

To make us a viable team we need at last one person who can handle diplomacy. Our team does not have anyone who could and would take care of it.
