[SPOILER] ww15 Lurker thread - No living players allowed!

NobleHelium Wrote:Seven scum is actually not bad for a 21-player game, in general.

yes. If all 7 were on the same wolf-tribe it would be very bad, of course - but with the possibility of them sniping each other, and the multitude of village power roles that could prevent night kills (3 drones, maniac, and pindicator's power, not to mention bob's immunity that actually did prevent 2 night kills) I think it was pretty well balanced. If anything the village was slightly overpowered.

I CLAIM REVENGE ON MOLACH FOR YOU AND ALL THE VILLAGE OF WW14

I can't believe it came down to that same situation. Bob wasnt a fellow villager though - he had his own misguided agenda smile

lol
So the village just got hosed in the luck end of things. Aside from Lewwyn (who led the Injera charge as well as vig shot zak) every lynch and night kill was on a villaget. How depressing is that?

yeah all *successful* night kills were on villagers until the end.

2 of our kills and at least 1 of selrahc's were blocked/immuned.

yeah i made it a verb.

Gaspar Wrote:Yeah that's the bottom line really - waterbat's game either goes in the scum hall of fame or the village hall of shame.

And the others, well - NAP has done a good job of leaving around most of the tinfoil hat brigade. If Rowain were playing I'm sure he'd still be alive. wink

Thanks Gaspar. That means a lot to me. Scum hall of fame. sweet. BRick gets a place after the amazing shit he pulled off this game.

I think, in retrospect, the village wasn't terrible, we just got unlucky with no crosskills and high% of scum.

the I don't think it was bad luck at all. It was villagers that lynched Mattimeo and Sareln and let the OBVIOUS wolf Brick live for so long, not scum. Really, I don't know what to think that everyone thought I would give multiple villagers a nifty commuter role, and then give another villager the ability to neutralize it.

I call smoke especially on mattimeo and molach. When Brick pulled his whole "yeah I can nerve staple but don't understand it" line, Mattimeo responded with "yeah I can drone riot but I don't understand it either." Which was bogus, Mattimeo understood his role completely - he even pointed out to me via pm that it was a commuter role, which I didn't even realize when I made the role. molach still didn't want to lynch Brick even after matt and sareln both flipped village with his identical power, even after Brick nerve stapled him!!

Brick should have been lynched immediately when he revealed his ability, or at least pushed by matt, sareln, and molach who knew that he could neutralize their ability. That would have changed the game dramatically and most likely paved the way for a village win (possibly planet win, but I don't think waterbat could have pulled off a NAP win by himself).
The rest of the village is just as culpable for not lynching Brick after Mattimeo's mislynch, when they knew for sure what a drone riot did.

thestick also dropped the ball when Injera outted himself and waterbat in the neighbor thread - thestick was email subscribed to that thread but just completely overlooked the slip up.

Well I see how the stick read it. As if injera was phrasing the post as if he was intentionally putting it in his thread. That's funny that injera would have been better off not editing it.

I'm surprised every time that is stated (as it isn't the first time I read it) but wasn't I the one to bring up the Injera lynch? I believe so, I believe I even discussed with Lewwyn in thread that he should vote with me. Not that it mattered in the end, but I feel unfairly put in a corner as "the seer who revealed too soon" (Bigger even stated something along the line that it was the worst that could happen for the village) despite me leading the way to the only non-villager kills (aside from Lewwyns vig shot) that we even had.
