I wonder ....
maybe a werewolf game without actual werewolves, but instead 3 independently acting Arsonists?

No new WW games ever or just for the time being?
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

heh. maybe a month or two from now, the mindworm that is implanted in my brain will wake up and get me to join another game. He's going to hibernate for a while now though - I've found I can suppress him with large amounts of alcohol.

Hum. So close....
Great play Bob. I wouldn't have made it so far alone. Well done wolves too.
Question: If on the final night I had asked to withdraw from the game, leaving Bob as the sole planet-player and able to night kill... would that have been allowed?

no, but even if it had been allowed, it wouldnt have changed anything. if bob gave up his immunity he would have been night killed, if he didn't he would have been lynched by brick and waterbat the next day.

But if I withdrew, Bob could have nightkilled without the roleblock, giving up immunity but getting a kill and thus winning as long as he wasn't roleblocked....
If it's not allowed, fine. Tactical withdrawal is a sort of dicey concept. But I think it would have won us the game.

I don't follow. Are you saying let you withdraw but not tell the other players? That wouldnt have been fair at all.
And there wasn't any mechanism for him to do the night kill with you still alive, which is what you are getting at, I guess (wolves kill and roleblock you, bob does the kill instead of you). That was intentional.

I liked the theme and atmosphere of the game, but I dislike not being told that we were facing more than one scum faction. Led to far too much meta babble for my taste. Great job running the game, though
