Not that it mattered in the end, but I feel unfairly put in a corner as "the seer who revealed too soon" (Bigger even stated something along the line that it was the worst that could happen for the village) despite me leading the way to the only non-villager kills (aside from Lewwyns vig shot) that we even had.
Lewwyn even gave you credit for the Injera lynch, relax =). And I wasn't saying that it was your fault for revealing early, you couldnt have known he would have died that night anyway, and it would be really hard to watch someone else get lynched when you knew 100% a wolf's identity.

Commenting on game balance:

Seven scum out of 21 is 33%. I read often that something between 20-25% is good, so 33% seems pretty high. Yeah, we had 2 factions but still, I would certainly not agree that the village was the powerful faction in this setup. I would agree though that we did have a fair chance, we just missed the obvious targets in the end unfortunately.
That said, thanks for hosting the game Bigger, I'm certain thats a lot of work

Great job BRick, had me convinced with the newbie act. But have to say that the above changes drastically when you know there are NAP + 3rd faction. Didn't really like all the meta speculation, but couldn't help it. Next game with lighter roles, hopefully

Also the amount of villager night-kill protected players was very hard to understand, since we had only 1 night with two kills . Game would have been quite different if there would have been even a second night with 2 kills.

Eh, I don't see it. I mean, you check your email and see a bunch of updates to the thread, you go to the thread and have a look rather than swim through all the emails. I had edited posts previously for grammar and intentionally buried it with another comment, so there wasn't really anything suspicious to make that post stand out. It could have broken the game wide open, but it's not unusual (or poor play) that it didn't.

Yeah, 25% seems to be the number for a 50-50 shot between village/wolf, but when you add in a third faction you can't give everyone a 50% shot.
I think the really egregious mislynch was Day 1, actually. That's the day the village is strongest- it shouldn't be using it's power to hunt players that are viewed as unproductive-if you do there's no way that the one that hangs is going to be a wolf.
Seriously, this has happened the last three games. I was a wolf all three times, and spoke out against it against my interests (though fell in line in terms of votes each time), and every one of those games went down to the wire.

It's funny how the village had four players with limited night-kill immunity, and none of their abilities came into play, but instead all four were lynched. OTOH, NAP tried twice to night kill Bob, the second time with a roleblock added for good measure. =)

Indeed, you both go to the top of the wolf hall of fame. Shame on you for overshadowing WW14 so soon, but thanks for the free ride to victory. But yeah, very good play, and amazing how you pulled through despite all the little (and huge) mistakes we made.
I have to run.

Well I had Brick, Waterbat and Selrahc down, but even knowing there were 4 fake IDs for some reason I never made the jump to there being 2 on the planet team

speaking of that.. care to explain the Catwalk night 1 nightkill?
For those that haven't had time to read the wolf thread, that was all novice. The NAP pretty much just followed novice until he was lynched .
Certainly woulda been easier for you if you took care of thestick or Lewwyn early on. (and Lewwyn was right, they figured out he was H'minee before Lewwyn role-revealed).

My reasoning was
a) Power role hunting based on metagame speculation (we killed one of the guys who hadn't claimed)
b) Safe kill
c) Spread confusion, give us a talking point
Within those parameters it was just a random suggestion and nobody objected... Maybe people are afraid to argue with me?
Another candidate was Pindicator, but we ended up scrying him instead, which revealed nothing, since the UN charter hadn't been revoked...
I don't see how killing Lewwyn or thestick early on would necessarily have made the game easier for us.
Zakalwe's death actually worked out great for us, glad the village cottoned on to Waterbat's power to prevent it. What the village didn't reason out though was that Lewwyn's revealed role PM would have damned Waterbat if Lewwyn had gotten killed the night Zakalwe died. Wolves thought long and hard about it, but couldn't see a way to save Zakalwe that wouldn't bring a lot of heat on Waterbat.
I have to run.

Yeah, we literally spent the whole night phase (and much of the preceding day, IIRC) debating if there was any way to save me. But we just didn't have enough killing and blocking power to prevent it without leaving any loose ends.
And like Bigger told me afterwards, Serdoa was trying to scry me that night anyway, so if we had blocked and killed Lewwyn, I would still have been doomed. We definitely did the right thing there.
I think Waterbat's ability worked out brilliantly for us, with Waterbat collecting all sorts of information for us, and influencing things behind the scenes. Even though lots of that information was fake, since he talked to *both* of the planet faction members over the course of the game.
For example, NAP knew that Selrahc wasn't legit, because what he told Waterbat in private didn't check out with what we knew about our own actions.
If you know what I mean.
