I take relatively few notes while playing. I used to take a lot more, now I usually screenshot whatever seems important and work from that. I typically take twice as many screenshots as I will actually use in a report, sometimes more than that. Cutting and editing screenshots in preparation for the report usually takes about an hour as well. All in all, a report will usually take about five hours worth of work, which I can typically bang out in a weekend. I've written so many by now, it's practically second nature.

I think I took over 250 screenshots for this game. And used about 10-15 of them. My gimp skills are going through the roof :D.

I liked the report, it was entertaining. I found an interesting pattern in early rushes - in my game, I attacked similiarly, but in 1000 BC with 4 troops more (2 gallics + 2 axemen) I managed to take Karakorum, Turfan and Beshbalik without some big losses and even got Maths and Masonry in the peace deal... I think it was quite a bad timing on your part... But you still played better than me , so I shouldn't really criticise; good game!
