I can play in a few hours if no one else can.

Played our turn. Didn't end turn. The whip will finish our worker next turn. Did we want to stay with second worker or put the chop into third settler?

I also changed to slavery civic.

im confused 3-ways - I thought the chop was coming into the current worker on the turn that it was finishing. And not sure what you mean by "the whip" - the current worker is already scheduled to finish this turn. third settler? we only made 1 so far, right?

ok - looked at the game. the chop came in. worker is ready to complete - the chop must have hurried it by a few turns as we are only 30/60 on the worker without it. That I didn't understand either at first since we had said the chop wouldn't speed the worker along - but it did by 2 turns.

since we have no overflow - i say we get the worker out and put him into chopping out the next settler - we'll be at 40/100 when the next chop comes in - that's 8t and 1 forest to get the next settler.

Its taking us forever to get to granary-time.

i didn't end turn either - any opinions? I'll end it at 1600 gmt or so.

Sorry i meant chop overflow, and I didn't look too close at the chop to realize that there would be no overflow. Sorry about the confusion.

Well I feel stupid for not noticing the 2t chop sign...

I like that plan. Now time to decide where third city goes. How about the Deer spot?

no problem - i removed the sign - I posted a turn report for t30-31 in the captain's log. I will end turn now since we seem to have some consensus -

Next turn, we are going to move worker1 towards city2 to farm the corn, worker 2 should move into a forest to chop into the second settler.

Let's put the chop into a settler but start a Queacha first so our city can grow a bit more.

that seems very reasonable given that we have a farm sitting idle there. What should our second city work on? We are going to need a culture building to capture the gold, right?

I don't think we should build a monument in second city. Let's wait for the terrace. Also think we should go for Hinduism after pottery so that the religion will found in second city and will win the culture war if required.

Third city could be deer city given we don't have fishing, but for that matter we don't have hunting either. Third city could also be horse city to pump out military for any defense required?

Maybe we should just bite the Fishing research cost and settle either that Horse or Copper city. Pink Dot will need defenders.

Hinduism sounds fine, though if we don't get it, then what?

Will growing to Size 3 actually speed up the Settler?
