Ah OK, Dalada->Sacnoth vanquish doesn't sound so bad with say 2 scavenegers running around. Sacnoth is full of foes which should lead to a ton of Ebon Vanguard points.

From there we could hop into Rragars, looks fun. People just need Doomlore Shrine to have the quest.

If people have some of the quests active in Sacnoth (kill titan gods, kill anton's buddies, kill charr shaman), do you think that's managable in HM, or a bad idea?

Well I bagged about 5K in Normal one time... 8)

Err... Just a Sacnoth Vanquish or one of those dungeons I think. Trying to do both is not going to work. lol

I've done it in Normal with Anton's quest active and that just closes some doors around the Charr camp in the middle and messes around with some spawns. The other two could be... interesting. Most of the problem though is that pack of five Djinn that are in the burning forest regardless. Whether we have Charr or a Titan there is a small concern beside that fast roaming pack of AoE fire... eek

What time is this going on at because I have work so I miss out on all kinds of stuff.

If both are too time consuming, then I'd personally rather do the dungeon.

Time has been 8 PM EST so far.

I'm all about playing as a team. It will be faster and much more fun. However, there are annoying spots in Rragars, where there is stuff like 5-10x HM Lvl 26 Spirit Rift spike = instant wipe. For those kind of spots, I'll keep a little something up my sleeve....

I offer that a lot of the problem of Rragars and Kathandrax is getting there. In doing so you'll probably already be 30% of the way to the Sacnoth vanquish. Perhaps we should just finish it off?

No thanks. lol

Tackling the forest on a dungeon build could get us all to -60% DP and any wipe after that would have us right back at Doomlore. We really want to either build with the Djinn boss in mind and nail that pack with a bit of careful planning or build for one of the dungeons. Even if the Kathandrax build is much the same I still prefer to skirt the edge of that area and avoid tangling with that boss.

The real problem though is time constrants. We don't want to have Hawkmoon Monking and mumbling, "How much longer guys? It's past my breakfast time!" thumbsup

Meanwhile, others (me) will be cursing the lack of Merchants.

We want this to be as fun as it can be, not forced for the sake of completing a title. nod

I've been puzzling over this today and have decided to throw my vote at Hard Mode Rragar's Menagerie. tongue

As much as I'd love to try a guild trip on the crazy ride (Catacombs of Kathandrax) my experience there on the last three times I've done it tells me we'd be wanting a group going through in a Normal Mode practice run with all participants on Vent and any hero management left to the people who know the place. lol

Rragar's, by contrast, is a much more conventional slog. Explanations over Vent won't be much more involved than "Yes, we know Hidesplitter is pwning us, but Rragar has the hard rez, so he drops first." wink

Well we did HM Rragar. It was fun! Though we suffered quite some deaths tongue

Rragar even accepted to pose for a photo! Linky

What about next Saturday? I'm all for another try at Underworld.

Next Saturday? Urgoz could be back on the menu?
Alternative? I could go along with another Underworld attempt.
Alternative 2? Much like this weekend's reputation point bonus caused a sudden shift in the ~plan, maybe next weekend's will go the same way?

My draft roster needs to survive tomorrow and then I can say whether I'll be there or not (90% positive I think). thumbsup

But for now people are mentioning another bash at dungeons or something. If we can keep it under three hours all up (as in half hour prep marathon might screw me) then I'll be in.

So, do we want to try another dungeon in Hard Mode? Or maybe vanquish one of those Charr Homelands areas not yet tackled by a guild group:
- Grothmar Wardowns
- Sacnoth Valley

EDIT: Evidently people had something other than Guild Wars on for the following day! lol Ah well. Ragnar is now only one Hard Mode dungeon away from Legendary Delver, Somewhat Zen bagged 12K hunting down a Titan (gaining a couple of ranks in the process) a-aand my draft roster has been largely confirmed, so I should be able to make it next weekend. 8)

I still have Urgoz on the mind. Maybe we can pull from a few sources if we don't have 12 on. wink
