Yes, Tasunke might be wolf (as everyone else right now) but we discussed already last game that taking his typical behaviour as a reason to vote for him is rather dumb. I am pretty sure you were involved in that discussion Meiz, I mean, he was a neighbour, same as you.
Yeah, I was his neighbor and even defended him in that game. So far he has self voted and then revoted without reasoning. I don't see the resemblance on his last game so far. Hence the suspicion that he pulled an opening that "wolf wouldn't"

Serdoa Wrote:zak, same as with Meiz, isn't it obvious that Molach meant don't go for the weird people that are always acting weird just for acting weird while he felt that Rowain and waterbat acted "weird" despite normally not acting weird. I'm not sure why you, similar to Meiz, seem not to be able to grasp the difference. Again, similar to Meiz, you played last game. We discussed the differences between "weird acting people who are always weird" and "weird acting people who normally act rational".
That was a quote from thestick, not Molach. And to be honest, that wasn't really the part of thestick's post that I found most suspicious, it was just the part where my suspicions felt easiest to convey. The most suspicious aspect of the post was the whole "let's just ask a bunch of questions" aspect, which is harder to communicate, since it's just a gut feel. I still think it's noteworthy that he goes from gently rebuking people for going after weird players for poor reasons, and then he throws out something utterly vague in the end, as some kind of afterthought. I'm not saying it's a smoking gun, though.
If he can elaborate on how those people who normally act rational have actually been weird this time around, I will listen.
@Meiz. I am serious about the policy lynch, but the reason I brought it up is because one of Gaspar's main gripes with me has traditionally been that I always take Novice under my wings. "No point in going after Novice unless Zakalwe supports it", has been his mantra. So I'm just saying that I won't stand in the way, this time.
If you know what I mean.

I'm willing to take Catwalk on his word that he's busy.
Honestly, it seems a bit eager to me. I have no clue what to make of it, though.
What gives you the impression that Catwalk would lurk as scum? Molach-ian refers to lurking, yes?
Again, what gives you that impression?
Injera reading Catwalk as not being the kind of person to lie about real life feels suspicious to you?
Hasn't 'lynching the weird people' backfired on us three games in a row?
Do Rowain and waterbat seem a bit unhinged to anyone else?
uberfish for mayor.
Scummy post, bunch of innocuous questions stringed together to look like active participation.
Agree with Serdoa on Pin - Pin, how could you take Bigger's posts like metagaming? More like you had decided to vote someone for that reason, and Bigger fit the bill.
Tasunke, why did you vote Lewwyn for mayor when he hadn't even posted?
Crossposting a bunch.
I have to run.

What do you mean by "four more hours of to go"?
I meant to write "Came home for lunch from work," but lost the bolded part somehow. Poor play on my part, considering I'm the Newspaper Editor.

Serdoa Wrote:Jkaens comment seems to point back to last game when Tasunke claimed his role (and outed his neighbour-buddy in the process) just because he had a 2 or 3 votes. I see why he would post something like that. Though I don't like the added vote, because people who did not play in that game can't be expected to know that.
But do we really expect Tasunke to panic claim again just because he's done so once before? I think he would have learned from that experience.
Quote:As for catwalk: I think he stated already some games ago that he has several openings.
Hmm you may be right. But that second post is still defensive and I don't like that a "I'm going to be inactive" post is followed up with second post in the morning that goes "hey I might actually be able to post" without really commenting on anything.

I think Tasunke should simply be on the back burner. I can't tell if he's just acting crazy for fun or if he's actually a wolf who has been planning to act like a wolf so we all assume he isn't a wolf and don't lynch him. In any case I think it's no good talking about it. We either vote for him on the grounds of anti-village or we trust the villager gut that he's just acting out. Personally, I'm in favor of not voting for him Day 1 because I think its a wasted of time when we could be looking at other peeps.
Uber, I agree that Catwalk is suspect. I mean even if he says he's got planned openings a few games back, that's not a reason to just accept what he says! In fact, isn't that even more of a reason to disbelieve him? How do we know this isn't a planned wolf opening! Catwalk
Sticking to Qgqqqqq for now.

I think he's done it in every game so far? :D But I also think that's a poor excuse why people should avoid voting him.

Who on earth has a long list of openings in this game? This isn't chess. You are sounding like scum trying too hard to appear to be contributing.
catwalk
Basically this.
I hate to vote on a absentee, but this second post just rings false.

Thanks for the insults guys, I'll chalk them up to lingering frustration from last game.
@pindicator: my first post was just joking about the meta - hard to convey the sappy sarcastic tone intended. It seems it always happens. Also i wanted to vote someone who hadn't shown up yet - it's time to get the game moving.
@meiz,llewyn: People (meaning Person, meaning Qgqqqqq) vote for me for mayor because I'm a stand-up guy with an impeccable reputation. Or if we want to RP, they put faith in their pastor to guide them through these terrible dark days.
waterbat
A self-vote for mayor can be just as telling in certain situations than a vote for another. Why limit the choices a mafia has to fuck up? Pardon my language, I was a navy chaplain in my last assignment.
thestick
a bunch of random questions coupled with the "Rowain and waterbat" comment.
catwalk is actually busy - so im willing to cut him a break for day1 - Also its not like he's trying to set himself up for prolonged lurking. its just day1. Day 1 is shit anyway - when we get further into the game is where its going to be important. Although lurkers (and non-playing players) really frustrate me - the tie between lurking and alignment is very weak. I think a lurker even complained last game about waterbat making 70% of the posts during one day. I don't know if that was true or hyperbole, but i certainly wasnt lurking. Someone (molach or meiz, i think) made a very good point about the activity pattern of a wolf last game - it was so on-point, as a NAP, it scared me. I'll look it up.
