Hey, nice game! But... you didn't win a UN victory, right? The rules change in the latest patch makes it necessary for someone else to vote for you to win, which makes that victory condition incompatible with Conquest. (I assumed that was part of your overall game design.) The last screenshot just shows a Single Currency vote going through, not a Diplo Victory vote.

I did not play this game, so I have no vested interest one way or the other. You might want to clarify this issue for others who played, however.

Thx Sullla. I noted the Diplo issues on Post #4 of the 'game opening' thread. You only need to pass a vote with a 60% victory margin to qualify for the UN victory.

I did Google the name...it seems to be some kind of Turkish cheese, but in addition to failing to time my spaceship launch properly (:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: ) I did not make the connection to Mehemed.

Whoops...I was thinking of in game score not Firaxis score, which is why I went for time. So, I blundered a couple of times .

I like the "corridor" feel of your mapscript. Somehow it's reminds me more of Arthur C. Clark's linear interior of the spaceships in his Rama series, than Niven's ringworld. Fun read, but not my type of game
