WW16: The Outlaws and The Olives

Here is Bruindane's Mardoc's fears post based on a conspiracy Mardoc had during WW3.

Bruindane Wrote:[Image: wolves.jpg]

So I think it may be healthy to post the people we do suspect. I was a little disconcerted when Lewwyn posted the people he trusted, as the wolves will just pick off those people first, but posting suspects saves time and gives us something to work with if people die.

My top 5 are Irgy, Mr Nice Guy, Selrahc, Gold Ergo Sum, and Sandover.

@Bigger Perhaps he didn't move to you because that would be too obvious. But his sly moving from thestick brought you into danger(it needed only another villager getting swayed by thesticks claim to get you swinging).

Afterall he was already on Mattimeo (the first attempt to save thestick) so beeing on both alternates wouldn't be the best move for wolves.
While there are other good candidates I do feel pindicator is the right choice today.

@catwalk If you continue to only stick to novice without any thinking yourself you should be policy-lynched out of principle. Such play makes it far too easy for wolves to allow it to happen.

Yes, a rather "cute" picture of wolves with names on them. tongue

As I have been told, it turned out that none of Mardoc's suspects were actually wolves, and indeed Bruindane was a wolf.

Which kinda makes sense, really. I mean, who else would go to that much trouble to "Aesthetically" back up someone elses fears? And THEN go on to create his own, and entirely SEPARATE wolf list?

Sounds like a situation where the wolf goes into MS paint for awhile, because nothing he does will benefit the town anyways, and then by giving his own list too, he then places TEN suspects into the limelight. Yes, publicly posting wolf lists can get pretty sketchy, especially when wolves are allowed to post them :P

But, as has already been stated, I was more coming from the direction of Sareln/Novice .... as opposed to Sareln/Novice/Ichabod/Selrahc/Catwalk

The best part? Bruidane put 2 wolves in his suspect list.

Response to Sareln analysis.

1) Injera/Merovech/Jkaen having voted both Bigger and Sareln

I wouldn't rule out a wolf move here on this basis. Sareln was a very safe vote at the start of day 2. Obviously he isn't cleared.

Just noticed the timing of Jkaen's vote: he added a vote to bigger immediately after the disintegration of Matt's wagon. If mafia wanted to test the viability of the Bigger wagon, this was the time, while the vote is sitting at 7-4 instead of 11-5. But no one else moves. I think what this says is: If jkaen is town, then it's likely that mafia gave up on saving thestick at this time because none of them followed the lead of a town to try and save him; and if jkaen is scum this is the pressure point where mafia unsuccessfully tested the waters on Bigger (and no other scum joined because they decided it'd be too conspicuous for 2 scum to jump on simultaneously.) Either way it suggests that scum did decide to abandon Thestick at this point.

Doesn't clear the late Bigger voters since a scum might have decided to hop on when he saw movement actually happening, and Merovech gains scum points for being one of the late Bigger voters and today still taking the view that ALL the other late bigger voters (sareln, uberfish, catwalk) are suspicious.

2) thestick's behaviour

Sareln Wrote:theStick: Unvoted
Pindicator: Unvoted, voted theStick, and then voted Merovech.
Sareln (self): voted Bigger.
Serdoa: voted theStick.
Uberfish: voted Bigger.
Twinkletoes89: Unvoted, and then voted theStick.

theStick unvotes completely and then never lays another vote. This was puzzling to me. I suspect though is that it indicates the initial wolf decision was to bus or it was theStick's way of indicating to his teammates that a save should not be attempted.

If thestick was indicating anything to his teammates he could have done so in the wolf QT. I think the unvote just indicates that thestick decided to act like a resigned villager - he might have lurked around to see if he could save himself at the end.

Strange because the picture works fine in all posts for me and using the url directly works too. Maybe you aren't allowed to see photobucket?

catwalk stop being a parrot, voting without explanation is bad enough, let alone voting blindlessly with someone who cant articulate.

Dont like the pindi wagon either.
