Hey there, RB. Here's my report - not only my first AAR, but my first game of Emperor. As you can imagine, it was a bit of a bloodbath.

This was a fun read thumbsup

Too bad the game went south, but a jump from noble->emperor should be a little challenging. I thought your opening was well done, but it looks like you may have been short of workers. Your Boudica looked like the strongest in any of the games I've read so far.

That was a refreshingly different read. I like having the capital be "Chicago" and the gold city "Fort Knox." Nice.

Compared to the other reports I've read, I'm surprised that Boudica managed to become top dog. Maybe it was because you take a builder approach and weren't much help to Justinian. smile Fun to see what happens when she's unopposed. I guess her madness can pay off after all.

To bad you took a loss but great you still posted your report. Great read. It appears you didn't expand fast enough, prob b/c the difficulty jump from noble to emperor. But somehow in these RB events you allways have too little time to build everything you "really" need.

After reading all reports it seems you all met a different Boudica compared to me in my not-completed game. On my continent there was never a war (prob b/c all were budist). Boudica actually was the tech leader and gave me IIRC 5 techs for free!!! First time that happened to me wink
