Talked with Mackoti about this. This is not a major issue, we'll be fine. It does NOT delay the cow or deer improvements. It will delay the gold by 1T.

We'll work the unimproved deer for 1T, then switch to unimproved cow the following turn, then the pasture will be complete. This will let us get the granary complete at sz2 with foodbox half full. When I login to end turn, I'll do this and settle the city. I'll also make sure working the deer for 1T does not delay BW - if it does we'll just work the cow. I don't believe it will though - it's just 1 beaker we're giving up.

Blades of Glory has been settled:

Quick look inside:

We're working that deer for this turn only, then swap to cow next turn. Capital still on the worker:

Quick note on the warriors. Any suggestions for what to do with them? I moved the one warrior off the gold in hopes we could defog the stuff to the east. I pulled the other back into Blades of Glory for the moment. Might be best to hold him there temporarily as we don't have enough production capacity to slip in a 15h warrior in the time someone could come out of the fog.

Misclick is unfortunate. But why the heck did we bother making a tight micro plan if we're just going to randomly work different tiles and screw it up??

Mackoti said he calculated it out this morning and working the Deer for 1T was better.

I look forward to finding out the rest of this new micro plan.

There's actually a problem with the current one:

Quote:T42: Camp completed by B. A moves to gold. Occam finishes a worker © with 6 overflow. BW in, at reduced slider.
T43: C chop roaded plains hill forest. Occam starts a granary. A starts mining gold and will road it afterwards. B moves to cow and puts down half a road.
T44: B joins C and completes chop. Granary complete.

It actually just clicked with me why I got so confused in the micro thread about which city your worker C was coming from... This is because it's not possible for worker C to move from Occam to the plains forest and chop all in the same turn. The forest is 5 tiles away.

The plains hill forest is two tiles away from Occam's Razor.

(nvm on the forest thing)

I checked Mackoti's work. The change did not slow down the arrival date of the granary, but it does slow down sz3 by 1T, so it's a mistake. Either way it completes at T46, but Mackoti's deer adjustment result in a foodbox of 12/24 when it completes, while the original plan has it at 15/24, which means original plan grows 1T sooner (yield is 5F/turn @ sz2). Sorry, I should have veto'd the change when I logged in to hit enter. Mackoti was working on the sandbox for awhile trying to fix the lost worker turn from his misclick, so I trusted his work on it.

So it was just supposed to a 1 turn tile change? I mean yeah, that's just a straight -3f -1c, since we are working the unimproved deer tile instead of the unimproved cow + improved deer (working unimproved cow grows a turn sooner).

Down the road that either translates into -2f -1c if we avoid growth to get full granary food, or one less turn working the improved gold tile which I think is what we'd have wanted.

It's really frustrating to put work into micro plans that people don't bother following.
