Adventure 28 - LKendter

It is at the typical location: www.kendter.com

My score at 1,900 AD was 18,922. Hopefully a decent showing. Play was to rushed as I just finished the game a couple of hours ago.

Did you deliberately start your report at turn 38?

I think you a pretty good strategy: wonderhog then acquiring religions by war, but I believe you missed a trick by not adopting Caste System for the scoring date: more Artsts in Amsterdam would have boosted your score by, at a guesstimate, ~50 per Artist. Might have been similar in Delft with Scientists, but hard to tell without seeing the city.

Swiss Pauli is right about Caste System - with Sistine, artists are the best specialist hands down. And the 100% culture ensures that you won't have unhappiness.

Looks like you had a full set of cathedrals in Amsterdam - did you manage that at all of your other biggest cities?

Why did you renounce Buddhism right before the end? I'm guessing you went free religion for the 10% science, but if your slider is on 100% culture (as it should be) I would imagine the Sistine bonus for state religion buildings, as well as USankore, would be much more than that 10%.

Still, a good job. I hear you about not wanting to be precise with all of the micro at the end.

My first entry was my next city. I really didn't have anything in the way of opening thoughts.

You are probably right. Lack of use of Caste System (rarely used) caused me to not even think about it.

Some of the cities with extras (Versailles, Oxford, etc.) got most of them. I did miss some at the end though. It took me to long to take out Babylon.

I screwed up. I was thinking about the science boast, and getting religion to count with at least 4 culture points. However, that wasn't as good as the Buddhist temple. As I said, I was too rushed. This was the exact type of mistake that I feared from rushing.
