Sounds good, Cornflakes. If we move our Quechua onto the hill, and M3 moves their Warrior on to D, why don't we attack with both Quechuas instead of only one?

Who is able to play this turn. I dont think I will be able to play this turn.

The other option is to move C into tortuga and move D back towards the capital. If we get unlucky with the dice roll, and get attacked by the warrior and lose D (even if D is on hill) then we will have no defenders at the Capital. If we are going to whip out a settler, we wont be able to whip anything else in the event we get attacked by the warriors at the capital. Might be a good idea to have a quecha in place for defense.

I can't play the turn for another 12 hours, so if someone can take it earlier then go for it.

This depends on how M3 moves their other warrior (Y). If warrior Y stays fortified on the forest then we could attack a second time and finish killing warrior X. However, if Y is advancing on the capital we need to get a defender back. By attacking we leave D vulnerable on flatland to Y, whereas if we retreat to Barbados we will be defending on the hill and inside the city.

I did consider moving C into Tortuga, but if we do that and M3 advances on the capital then we are left with just D against both M3 warriors at the capital. If we leave it in it's current position it can still defend Barbados indirectly (i.e attacking on flatland) or directly if M3 follows yellow because it still has time to retreat and get inside Barbados.

Can't play for 8-ish hours.

So what's the final move strategy for this turn? I can play in around 7 hours but if anyone can play before then please do so. If someone can post the exact moves for all our units for this turn then I can play the turn in 7 hours.

so this turn is:
T40 A Roads 2W1N of Barbados (1/2), B Roads 1W of Barbados (2/2), Settler 55/100

that is easy - i did those actions.

On the others - I just followed Cornflakes plan 1 above. So the turn has been played.

I am worried about the YELLOW path above, but these factors make it a bit unlikely:

1) they don't know our capitol is empty
2) they never had vision on our cap, so they don't know we have 65 hammers into something
3) their team is decimated. the probability that they have divined the fact we are working a second settler from demographics screen is low.

speaking of hammers in the box: they have 0 - so they finished something - how fast can it come to harass us? I would guess 5 turns minimum and that is with a lot of road help. shit - i can see roads on the tiles - it is 5 turns maximum they could strike Tortuga. (of course this all assumes that the unit they made was a warrior)

4) they fortified on the forest last turn- so they aren't beelining our cap (although they could change their minds)

Just logged in to check two things:

1) confirm that Quechua completes EOT42 at Tortuga, and it does. Which means that if M3's warriors follow yellow path then the Q will complete in time to defend before they can attack ... This also means that we could safely retreat both Q's in the field back to defend Barbados. If M3 follows yellow our moves should be C-1NE, D-1E. IMO the yellow path is the safest for us because we have time to get two defenders in each city.

2) I thought, "hey, if M3 just built a unit it should show in the power graph, right?" ... ... ... Unfortunately we do not have graphs on M3 yet undecided so no luck there.
