Not sure how much and how good it scales down, but it's easy to recognize in small size.
Enjoy
Thanks! I can also recommend people to try out Convo as a free alternative to Tapatalk. It works with the Tapatalk API installed on the forums.

Indeed, it loads much, much faster.
Hey, is there any way to increase PM-inbox size? I have like two messages in there and it takes up 9% of the space I have...

How many does the forum think you have? I think it's possibly a bug caused by the import from the old forum, I was going to post about it this morning anyway.
On the top of the screen for me, it said I had 45 messages and in the PM section of the UserCP it said I was taking up 23% of my available space. That's exactly what I had in the old forum.
None of my PM's were imported (and I don't care, there wasn't anything important) but in my sent folder I had 20-something stubs of messages (no recipient, no content, but a placeholder for a message in the list). I've deleted all of those, and found out how to fully delete them (the "empty folders" link).
According to the system I now have 19 messages, using up 10% of space. I'm pretty sure that's the right number for how many PMs I'd left in my inbox. But all the folders including my inbox are empty and I can't find anything to delete any more

Sounds exactly like how it's with me. I've emptied all folders, but still use 9% of the PM quota. So not a trouble for me, but it might be a problem for people who receive a lot of PMs.
Going forward, I think the list of registered users could be pruned too. Users who has never activated their accounts, or who registered more than a year back but has never posted here, and so on. But that's a backburner project.

Yeah. Same for me. It says a total of 18 messages, but only 3 that I can see.

oy. so I had 72% full. I managed to delete "sent messages" which reduced it to 51%, but couldnt find any other messages. Apparently the switchover lost access to my inbox, but it still counted against the storage limit.
Anyway the solution is to "export" the messages. The option is under the "download messages" tab. make sure you check "delete exported messages." I would go ahead and export all of them, not just older than 30 days, since you can't read them anyway. you'll get an html popup (I think you can actually download the full messages if you really want to save them) so you can read them one more time. Then close the new window and you're done.
I got my percentage down from 72% to 1% this way. Not really sure what the 1% is (my guess - notifications to see if my pm's were read that I can't delete). But I can live with that.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

One thing on slowdowns that comes to mind - apparently with some sites, having multiple threads with limited numbers of posts is less of a load on the server than having one thread with lots and lots of posts. (Has to do with the number of database hits when that thread is viewed or something, since there's more info in individual posts than the thread listings or something. I imagine that could vary depending on the forum software used.) There's one site I frequent (hfboards.hockeysfuture.com) that has moderator micro to handle that sort of thing - they proactively close any thread that gets above 1000 posts or so and then create a "followup" thread for that same topic.
Just something that came to mind; might not even be relevant here. But, y'know. Thought.

I just ran into a cute bug regarding the forum automatically putting the thread title in as the post title: I was replying to my EitB Pitboss thread and got the error message "Thread title is too long, max 85 (currently 88)". I couldn't figure out any way around this in quick reply mode, but was able to edit the post title in new reply mode.
