Either both wolves were on the block or you were voting with both wolves. Or only one wolf left.

Because I'm awful at this game.

Should have stuck with my original Gaspar-first plan as that was at least logical.
Waterbat would have been lynched my me the next day anyway, though. I gotta imagine catwalk gets night-killed since he's most definite villager. Really waterbat, that was some scummy defending. Then again, you're trying to convince the person who has never been on a winning side before. Really don't see where you guys give me all this WW credit: I'm awful at reading people.

And Catwalk, I swear if I ever play WW again and you give me shit for switching at the end of a day, I'm gonna troll the rest of that game.

success! win! acheivement! you got what you wanted, pindi smile

No, I honestly thought you were scummiest! And your defense sucks. It honestly stunk, or I stink - i'll see what the lurker thread says on that.

Lurkers were mostly believing Waterbat was scum and Jkaen was town.

Nice job, guys. Sorry about being dead weight.

I didn't give you shit, I just pointed out that the only way waterbat was scum was that either:
1) I was scum too
2) Meiz was scum
3) There was one wolf

You believed my innocence and believed there were two wolves left, so the only explanation left was Meiz being scum. His increasing fervour with which he pleased for Gaspar's innocence was also a scumtell IMO, he'd started out more reluctantly.

And I was sold on #3. What was getting me was that I aws starting to think it was a solo Meiz. And in that case I'd rather try for waterbat to get him out of the way. Dunno why I was getting more and more sure of 1 wolf left.

I had a thought towards the end of the day along the lines of "wow, meiz and gaspar are probably the only two people not to seriously go after each other among the 5 of us" - and that still didn't ring any bells. So yeah, I'm pretty pissed at myself. Not to mention the whole internet-going-down-right-before-i-vote-waterbat-but-me-still-pushing-through-a-vote-via-my-phone bit. Pile on all you want.

Edit: ALso, I didn't buy #2. My most likely pairing was waterbat-gaspar for 2 wolves. I thought gaspar-meiz more of a longshot.

I really didn't mind mean to piss you off, and I'm sorry if I did. Just a little frustrated that we almost had this smile I think it was risky thinking there was only one wolf left, as that's an assumption that can easily cost us the game if wrong. There's much less risk in assuming two wolves, as that means no mislynches left. If you believed my innocence, the safe pick was to follow my vote. The reason I called out for Meiz to switch was that I really did believe in that moment that you were a super clever wolf with excellent cover and Meiz had managed to construct a strong but misguided case for Gaspar.

Thanks BRick for an excellent game, sorry for giving you shit earlier about calling Mattimeot 3-shot Cloaker smile

EDIT: Fixed "didn't mind to piss you off" with "didn't mean to piss you off" smile

This is what i didnt understand. you had gaspar in both your pairs - everyone had gaspar in their pairs - makes sense to burn the first kill there. if its a 1-wolf job, you aren't at lylo - you can afford to be wrong.

WTF happened to the forums? it actually took me a while to notice - great job with the theme guys.

No, you didn't. I'm pissed at myself, mostly for missing stupidly obvious things like:

* If there's a chance you're in LyLo then you have to make sure all your villager votes are together
* Disregarding my own logic and switching off Gaspar

Which means Waterbat's plan was an awesomely pro-village one and I'm an idiot

well, something resonates with me still: catwalk said "its how you brought it up and what you had to gain"

i dont know how to suggest an idea like that without the idea that I might be trying to manipulate the village. bah. nature of the game i guess.

great job catwalk and pindicator - it was an honor dying together in the last bloodbath.
