WW17: Signup thread

cool thats 11.

personally I'd rather leave the sign-up open an extra week (if necessary) to do the game of thrones rather than start a smaller game. largeness wasn't the problem with ww16, it was the slow pace of the setup combined with a lot of sign-ups. Hopefully some of the regulars that haven't checked in will be more eager with a little extra time =).

I was wavering back and forth on whether to sign up this game since I've played every WW Game since WW2 (discounting 13 which I ran), but in the end I just decided I needed a break. Plus I finally got to be a WW. So not this game at least. Probably the one after this one I'll be back.

Do longer signup times actually encourage more people to play?
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

well it certainly did for ww15. so many early players wanted a delay in the start, the signup lasted for almost a month. and 5 or so of the 21 players signed up in the last few days.

There's always next game, though. I don't mind if this one becomes a smaller game.
If you know what I mean.

Depends on how small. WW 4 & 8 weren't really fun IMO.

I can play, don't expect 400 posts from me though.

how big was 8? I know 4 only had 9, which is way too small frown.

we have 12 now. I guess Uber could run his small game and then after its over run GOT. If he doesnt mind running two in a row, anyway. Most likely would get more sign-ups for ww18, I guess the long 16 made too many people want a break frown.
