If my dog bites me, I don't think "gee, he's hungry let me give him some food." I just have a hard time giving them anything at all beyond a Settler and maybe some gold for the extra pop we are getting. Maybe razing the city is not the winning move, but we're not winning anyway. A team lead by 7 is being left alone. They are winning. I'd rather make a point and re-orient our goals around screwing with TEAM.

Now, all that said the majority of the time spent on this game is coming from plako et. al., and I don't think I've come close to earning a vote. So I defer to the active majority . Here is a draft:

Against my will, I'm being asked to extend an olive branch. In exchange for the city you settled most rudely in our face, we'll give you a Settler. We'll also give you a Worker in exchange for the pair of Archers you have in the city. Finally, we will agree to the border as specified <INSERT BORDERS HERE>. Quite frankly I hope you turn the deal down, because that city is going to get razed and we'll be better off treating you as the rabid dog you are.

We could also offer to capture their two workers and gift them back as fast workers, or is that too cheesy?

We don't want their Archers and I think getting the city ASAP would be best and not wait it to grow. I suggest we wait for now though. Lewwyn has promised a response to me. If it doesn't appear we might want to make our own suggestion, but I think it should contain all relevant clausules including NAP and border deal so that it could be accepted as is.

Instead of giving them a worker we could also offer them couple of Axes. We've enough of them unless we want to start preparing invasion starting from T70. btw. Because of our NAP with Gillette getting a deal now from TEAM would also be a very good giving us way better position to negotiate a new deal.

Capturing and gifting Fast workers would feel a bit cheesy yes.

Also I would avoid dealing with Krill. This clearly isn't his game and it shows up in the diplo. His methods include e.g. silent treatment and unnescessary provocations. As long as we've other alterntives like Lewwyn no need to bother him.

You know you're a pain when dealing with Lewwyn is an attractive alternative . I like him, but he can be pretty rough...

Prediction: The "counter offer" will be ridiculous.

If we can get Settler+Worker I'd be OK. 2 Workers is stretching it, but it'd be better than a hot war.

No suggestion from Lewwyn so we better try to offer something. What do you think about these?

* Border deal - Neither of us can settle over the gold line (I don't think we can be greedier than this)

I think ideally, we want a city on the copper or west of it. I don't really want them to plonk a city 2N of the copper. I also doubt they are interested in axes, since they are trying to sell us archers. How about:

They get:
- A settler built out of Bloody Mary on EOT59, moved directly to wherever they want it. (We can settle a city for them if that's most efficient.)
- A worker moved right away to a position where they can capture it.

We get:
- Losing, gifted to us on their turn, after they capture our worker.

NAP until T100. (Are we before them in turn order?)

Borders: We will settle a city 7W of the gold. That city, Bitter, and Losing will form our northern border and they can settle all the land north and east of those cities, as long as their first ring doesn't overlap with our second ring.

Possible haggling points:
- They get the worker gifted instead, so it remains a fast worker (no big deal).
- We can probably whip that settler out a turn or two faster.
- NAP duration (don't really care).

Proposal sounds fine to me if you guys think it's sensible Their utter lack of ability to propose anything makes me think it'll get turned down flat tho.
