Sooo... if you were approached asking what the most entertaining/amusing (civ) threads were on the site, what ones would you say?

I'll claim the obvious one, pocketbeetle's FFH2PBEM1 thread.



DISCLAIMER: This is not meant to rank/create a competition for anything, nor to create controversy (say if you gat landed the smackdown in PBEM0 and are annoyed to see it listed as entertaining. It is merely a means to collate a selection of must-reads for any interested. The focus is on entertainment value, not interest level (e.g. PocketBeetle's FFH2PBEM1 thread is entertaining, while Krill's PB5 thread is interesting/informative.

Pocketbeetle's thread is a classic, yeah. But I also love the Lurker thread from the same game. Some real gems there.

"Locke"/"Cervantes" Pitboss game was also a fun read, especially in retrospect, I thought.

Yeah, a bit fun, but really short, I think 80% (or so) of the posts are by lurkers.

I'd suggest Novice/Seven/Spaceman's PBEM23 thread for educational value - I found it highly entertaining because I learned a ton.

Underrated: Dantski/Mukha's PB3 thread. That was a terrible game that's mostly not worth reading about, and the thread is really short... but the little bit that's there is really funny.
