Well, I think the idea that we should deliberately lynch strong players just because they could "set up more mislynches" down the line is pretty ludicrous. Lynching active players for information can perhaps have some merit, in some situations.

Anyway, I will cast my final vote for Coco. He's been up and down in the tally, so I do feel like we will at least get some information out of this. And really, if he keeps lurking we'll have to lynch him sooner or later. Sooner would be better, in that case.

(And I acknowledge this is not just a pure lurker lynch. But for me, that's a large part of it.)

Personally support coco lynch most, I get TTs point, but coco has contributed nothing so far, meaning reads will be difficult.

Is that a vote? Votes must be in red.

And yeah, if that was intended as an actual vote, now would be a good time to get back here and make it count.

Damn banghead.
Sorry coco.

The cases on Coco and Mattimeo seem similar to me. In both cases we have someone who's claimed to be busy, hasn't contributed much scumhunting. The difference, to me, is that Mattimeo has contributed a lot of non-scumhunting posts - the meta arguments on Tasunke, the meta arguments on the doublevote.

Meanwhile, Coco's contributed darn near nothing. Neither scumhunting nor off topic distractions. But in his (few) posts, he's at least on topic. His comments seem to be more definitely a result of barely following along - it's just a question of whether that's because he's a disengaged wolf or a busy villager, no?

So, to me, thinking in terms of signal/noise ratio, I'd rather lynch Mattimeo.

Zak? I suspect if you can persuade me otherwise, that'll swing the lynch completely. I'm likely to have a chance to change my vote in the next 40 minutes, if my boss stays busy. Care to try?

coco's posts might be on-topic, but they don't say anything.
Mattimeo is at least trying (or giving a good impression of trying) to help with scum-catching.
I dislike the meta, but at least you can get reads of his posts.

I think Mattimeo is posting in the 'just enough to not be a lurker' category but no more than that.

Neither he nor coco have done a thing for the village so far.

I don't know what to say, Mardoc. I'm voting for Coco because I'd prefer him to hang, but it's a pretty close call for me. It's a combination of A) he could be noob scum who can't find anything to say, B) he could be devious scum who gambles on "underdefending", C) he could be very busy scum, and D) he won't be a great loss if he's innocent.

Like I said, I also feel that it's quite probable that Mattimeo is scum, but if he isn't, it seems like there is at least some chance he will redeem himself in the upcoming days. The hope of that ever happening with Coco seems slim.

I think Coco could redeem himself too, but he would have to meet us halfway.

I personally would give him until halfway through the next day. If he doesn't improve, I will happily vote for him as he's had his last chance with me then. But that may just be me being unrealistic.

Basically, whoever survives needs to up their game a lot. And whoever dies won't be missed.

And I don't like players who stay at the top of the vote pretty much all day. That makes me uneasy as things that seem so easy rarely are what they seem
