Well for one thing, I'm definitely not chopping 3 forests one turn before we finish Mathematics. Those workers can road or something for one turn. That's a gigantic waste of production at Mansa's Muse. I think we can do better.

I do not know if I have typed something wrong, but we are not chopping any forests before Maths in my plan. Those 3 workers are all pre-roading.

Yeah simming this is a pain. I'll try to type up something building on FT's work tonight. We can get the gems hooked on t77 at least.

For HF, it will have happiness issues. So how about building a library there and working two scientists fed by the fish tile? We can easily get a GS from there before the GP from MM too, if we want that. We can 2-whip an axe into the library and then finish the library as a 2-whip. The warrior can go scout since the axe can serve as MP.

Your worker micro around KC needs to be changed slightly since the sandbox is wrong there.
I have to run.

Practically it's the same. In sandbox I built the road. In game we pre-chop. If you manage to get both the granary chopped and cottage up during the first turn of KC's existence, then thumbs up! smile I chose to prioritize granary, since it also allows putting one worker turn into a grassland cottage for AO.

One way to solve the happiness in HF is that on T68 we move Boldly and the new axe from MM towards Bananagem, and the existing axe in FP moves towards AO. FP gets its replacement axe at the end of turn, and on T68 we can move the warrior in AO to HF, and is replaced by the axe from FP.

This is possible. The trade-off is that we have only one axe at KC and no unit to scout in the south.

Fintourist: As long as KC gets its granary before it has 12/22 food we'll get full benefit from it. (Slightly simplified.)

Getting an MP there should be easy enough, but the city has lots of food and not many good tiles to work, so it's begging to be whipped every 5 turns. Which is why it will have happiness issues.

Oh, I am not that familiar with the granary mechanics smile Then let's make sure that we have cottage finished and chop the granary 1t after the founding of KC.

Regarding your earlier thoughts on library and HF. HF could well use the library. Whipping an axe ~T70 starts a long streak of unhappiness for the city -> we place quite a bit of value on scouting with the warrior. In my sim the next whip went for the galley. Whether that makes sense is kind of a big picture decision regarding how fast we want to settle the island city. I personally have no strong opinion here.

I think he's saying as long as we get the granary built before the food box is half full we don't lose anything.

BTW: I'm having large doubts on if the wheat landmass is an island. Once we get the work boat and the border expansion we will have a better idea.
