Hi all. Lots of armchair quarterbacks in this thread.
I made a bad read on TT and lost my temper with Jkaen but otherwise I'm pretty happy with my game. I was surprised to avoid the noose on day 3, tbh. Lots of villagers shooting from the hip without really trying to be methodical at all. Lucky that the scum were in even worse shape.
I was also surprised that Thestick quit, but he had started drawing suspicion from many of us. Or at least Rowain and me. I think that modkill may have been a little unfair to the traitors.
I have also been advocating a majority lynch system since forever. WW8 is just an example of how to play terribly as town under that system; it doesn't mean the system is bad.
If you know what I mean.

This is wrong, if there's a mislynch today (d5) and a successful scum kill and bad vig shot that leaves a 3:1 endgame on d6.
oh. yes you're right, that's what I get for listening to Lewwyn and the baner, too, apparently.

Well, I sniffed a wolf within the first half of the first day of this game. If I don't act smug now, I will never do it.

I was sorely tempted to vote for you just to take revenge for all the times you have been responsible for Rowain-lynches Sadly I'm too far interested in the game itself to make such a petty move.

WW8 is just an example of how to play terribly as town under that system; it doesn't mean the system is bad. WW10 had a weakened version of the majority lynch (Lynch happens if a player has 50 % or more at the 24hours mark) and it helped the wolves win too. One big weakness for example is that it can rob a player his defense. If the push happens during his offline-cycle (sleep, travel what ever) he is dead without a chance to make a roleclaim to save himself or answer the accusations.

I think all of that last-minute-switching isn't as big an issue as some have made it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Bigger could have saved himself if he just have had the time... honestly, we were desperately trying to save a wolf, of course there will be last minute switching, especially if for none of those on the block a convincing argument is made. And that of course can happen Day 1. But what other day did we have this game were last-minute switching was really a problem?
Imo, thats simply part of the game. Yes, one personally might feel he couldn't influence the vote - but quite honestly, thats mostly true with 19 players anyhow. I believe this whole discussion is more about "hurt feelings" than real gameplay reasons.

Yeah, like I said, I felt bad about that. Though in my defense, I only ended up on you because nobody would follow me on Mardoc.

I came around on you here, though, and pegged you as innocent. Maybe it's time you stopped nurturing your persecution complex? Your read comparing my game to WW7 was eerily accurate, btw. I was getting flashbacks.

I don't really see how that works to your defense. mardoc won't hang so you have to vote for me? The last I had visited the thread before that point you were parroting my suspect list and calling me innocent
this is how I felt about you after my lynch, Zak:

edit: your "Pindicator isn't defense voting so I have to change your vote" made me chuckle a bit, too, since you immediately switched to me - and I could have taken the pressure off me and avoided a mislynch by voting for Brick at any point during the day.

Well tough luck, Bigger. Someone needs to hang, and I did the best I could to hang scum, all game long. I don't see why I deserve a bigger share of the blame than anyone else.
If you know what I mean.
