I could sub for Mackoti in PBEM43. It's not like I'm going to win it anyway (yes, I'm joking).
More seriously, I could ded-lurk ad hoc in 41 and help out when he's away. I don't think I'm up for taking on a 3rd PB right now. I'm relatively unspoiled for 41 (meaning I looked at some of the threads months ago when it started, but really don't remember anything I saw...)
Completed: PBEM 34g (W), 36 , 35 , 5o, 34s, 5p, 42, 48 and PB 9, 18, 27, 57
Current: PB 52. Boudicca of Maya

Mackoti just confirmed that his cousin isn't coming back in the PBEM 41 thread, so it looks like we'll likely need a sub (unless by some small chance mackoti himself is interested in coming back, although I doubt that). However, it's looking like we may also need a replacement for Sian possibly as well...he has been AWOL for a couple days now as this has been going on. Kuro and ad hoc, what are your guys's time zone/play windows? If we have two substitutions needed might as well organize it well in that sense.
I doubt there'd too huge of an issue taking a break over the holidays (I may be without civ access myself over at least some of those dates ad hoc) so at least from my perspective that's not an issue. More important will be getting a good pace going before that point.

Well i'm on GMT and tend to play either early morning or evening if you need me to step in.

I'm Pacific Standard. My playing time window would probably be between 5 PM and 9 PM or so, maybe 4-9, with a slight tendancy towards the latter because I sleep late and wake up late.

Speaking for pbem43 here, we would like a sub. Your time slot is pretty flexible I think - we've been getting 1t a day despite the save staying for most of the day with the previous player.
Your position is pretty much a mystery, as previous players (Mackoti and his cousin) did not keep a spoiler thread. I can tell you that you have Mehmed of Inca, which is a damn good combo for this map in my opinion. I can't tell you how well you're doing... your score has been slightly on the low side but that doesn't mean much. To be prudent, assume you have the worst position of anyone. But, it's definitely still anyone's game here - much of the map is unsettled. I think it would be fun to play, plus there's no pressure since you can blame everything on your predecessor's mismanagement.

Rough times for PBEM 41 in GMT:
thestick 14:30 - 15:00
TheMusicMan 20:00 - 00:00
Shoot the Moon 01:00 - 05:00
Nakor 05:00 - 16:00
Mackoti 16:00 - 18:00
Sian 18:00 - 20:00
Seems like Kuro's Pacific Evening slot would be hard to deal with, depending on whether Nakor plays near the beginning or end of his window.
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

In that case, maybe I shouldn't join and someone with a better fitting time slot would.

Ad hoc, I'd be very happy to see you take over Mackoti in PBEM 41. Let's wait and see if we need a replacement for Sian as well.
Anyone interested?

Alright, Sian checked in so all we should need is ad hoc replacing Mackoti's cousin. Thanks for taking over!
In terms of getting set up, ad hoc, you should be able to pull the save off of here http://mistbinder.org/tracker/tracker.php?game=bts41. Seven, do you think you could let him know the civ password? Ad hoc, what email do you want to use for the game? For the first couple turns I suspect Nakor will just have to email you directly, but we'll also try to get the tracker page adjusted. Do make sure to read the first post of the setup thread ( http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=5288) for the house rules/bans for the game. Note that Mackoti's cousin broke one of the rules and build the pyramids; we've decided the easiest way to correct that was to have your civ just keep the wonder (culture/GPP) but not use it for civics changes. Any other questions or anything feel free to ask, but hopefully that should be enough to get you going. Thanks again for coming in!

Kuro - in PBEM43, it works out well, since the previous player (me) is Eastern.
