Heavily heavily agree.

Novice is probably going to get night killed at some point following this, and will confirm azza if he flips town.
Not necessarily, it was confirmed in the write up that there are protective roles, based on this day a village Novice would likely be protected. Whereas a possesed Novice would probably still gain protection, wasting that and possibly be able to garner more mislynches, including himself.

If Novice is a possessed screaming havoc, surely we can manifest a test? Two masons would have the same role PM. A possessed and a wolf(which is the most dangerous scenario) would not, and wouldn't have the possibility to communicate.
If Novice posts an encoded role name, and Azza does the same, and they match, we can confirm that they have the same role. We won't know if it is wolf or mason, but we'll be sure they're teamed for real.

If they are scum, they planned this since start of the game imo. Go back read novices post, see whom he attacked. Azza-voters mainly. Adds up now and makes sense. Thats why I would believe him - and expect that one of them dies this night. If not we would have two villagers out of 16 players. 14 after lynch and night kill. 13 if SK can kill as well. Good scenario for us, so I really don't see a reason to lynch one of them right now.
As for other possible lynch targets: I still like my case on zak and if everyone else believes he shouldn't be lynched D1 (I can see that argument but I am biased) I think Qgqqqq is still a decent enough lynch, though I may be biased on him as well...
Anyhow, not to happy with waterbat, but mostly because I have not seen all that much convincing about him. It feels more like taking someone who hasn't contributed too much because there is not enough time to actually think about the others.

I crossposted with this post earlier. It helped me understand why you might be so angry with me as a townie, so that's good.

Voting for someone for an outside reason that has no bearing on this game. And as less as he could plan for Azza to question him like that, Mattimeo could also not plan for Q to request explanation about the passive abilities from the GM.
I actually missed the "for last game" part, I thought it was just a bare vote. So that also weakens part of my argument against Mattimeo. Looks like I have to cede some ground there. You're still missing my point about random.org though. The point there is that when you're using random.org, you don't actually have to take responsibility for your vote; you can just point to the dice. So that's a convenient way to place your vote on a perceived easy target (such as Q). I don't find this terribly suspicious, but it's something quite different from what Q did when voting for Azza. In short, my argument against Mattimeo was quite different from your argument against Q, the way I see it. Besides, even if our arguments here were perfect parallels, all you're really arguing here is that I'm being a hypocrite. That doesn't make me scum.
(December 11th, 2012, 15:28)Serdoa Wrote: Again, if you got that feeling early on, why did you never ask me about the case? Why did you never try to take it apart?
It felt too early to start defending Q, even if I disagreed with the case. When I did decide to question you about it, I moved my vote at the same time. The timing seemed right for a vote, because some people were expressing suspicion against you. I wanted to give them a chance to hop on an actual wagon, to see if I could gain any traction (and generate information). In retrospect, this was perhaps unfair, or at least unwise, because it triggered this angry reaction from you. Keep in mind that I kept trying to get you to elaborate and maybe consider if you were just giving an easy ride for some of your followers. But you refused to engage in any discussion like that, and just went off on an angry rant instead. So yeah, that didn't really work out so well.
So yeah. It seems more plausible now that you're town. Though if you are, you should take a step back and clear your head because it seems you've biased yourself pretty heavily towards me being scum.
About who to lynch... Waterbat isn't really defending, at all. So I don't know who else to go for, really, but I'm willing to listen to other arguments.
If you know what I mean.

I've read over the thread and come up with thoughts but they really don't matter due to lack of time.
I accept Ichabod's computor excuse because Ichabod is a good guy and I trust what he says if it has to do with real life so I'm switching off of him.
Qgqqqq as I think he is the only one that can lose to waterbat with so little time. All Qgqqqq is doing is spaming and trolling Serdoa. I think he is posting for the sake of posting.
If someone other than waterbat becomces lychable I will have to choose but I don't think that would happen.
Novice. I really sure that you would not fake-claim azza not being guilty while under no pressure if you where a wolf/dragon. So the answer is that you are not wolf/dragon and a villager. A very likely villager is a great choice for mayor.

This is a great plan--assuming its a legal move...I think it is.

I very much agree with this, looking back through his posts nothing looks particularly bad. Waterbat's posts look rushed, but he has explicitly stated he's both been busy and ill, so that's understandable. The only other candidate I can see would be Mattimeo at this point, as a policy lynch on lurking and only looking out for your own skin.
Mattimeo

clearly. Which really makes me wonder why novice thinks its a good play to trade azza's life for his own.
regardless, novice can answer that at night.
we have 25 minutes. serdoa, care to convince me I should switch to Q? It doesnt look like waterbat can defend himself, now is an appropriate time to white knight .
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

@zak
You probably are right with your analysis on all accounts. And you are right that I probably feel to heavily about you. I certainly did put stuff in the wrong time-line and that might have biased the rest of my view. I also see your explanation why you switched so late and at least it makes sense for me. In short, I am not sure on you but in retrospect can see why me being so angry and not explaining it made me suspicious for you.
Qgqqqqq
Thats still my best lead to go on I feel.
