Heh, I completely forgot about the mAT this time around, even though I was checking this thread. Oh well. I don't remember what I chose for 1v1, even though I just finished filling it out, but I'm pretty sure I just chose the people with cool screen names and added/ignored a couple people based on what I saw on Guru.

I'm pretty sure I got all of my points from last month from the 1v1, too. The GvG was just spaztacularly weird.

So far I don't think I've ever gotten less than 75 RPs following your picks. Although this time I wasn't sure if you were putting picks up so I just sort of trolled forums and threw something together...I also thought [sup] wasn't playing anymore as most people weren't picking them.

And I learned after the 1v1 started today that Beastin Shen wasn't even playing in the tournament.

I'm still pretty amazed that I managed to pick the correct winner. There were a few names on that winners list I left off because a brief foray to the guru 1v1 forums said massacre way did a whole rage quit never coming back thing, so oh well. This is what I had:

Just watched the finals between sup and trim and you have got to enjoy the heck out of the irony of it all. If you don't know what I'm talking about, let me quote something from the dev updates page on GWW:

Over the course of these last few months, we've adjusted GvG to reinforce the game type's core objective: killing the enemy Guild Lord.

It just amuses me to no end that both monthly tournaments since that time have been determined without the lord being killed. This month sup hardly even touched the opposing lord (both bodyguards were alive). But, hey, that's what ANet wanted, they were more aggressive towards the lord and they managed to hurt him and trim didn't (no idea why trim didn't push into sup's base more than just that 1 half-hearted 22min push).

Depends what you mean by "touched". No the GL was no-where near dying, especially when that monk was sent back, but sup had the ranger and sometimes shatterstone putting damage on him for like half the match as their flagstand team slowly wiped.

Mkay versus "Real Teazer" is an entertaining match. They had an SH ele pounding oodles of damage onto the GL, who naturally sat in all the nukes. If only Teazer could hold the stand against a decent team.

Edit: wow. MIND SHOCK ele on NOW's team in the final, with weaken and blinding flash spam, powered by Shock Arrow. Air eles are back!

Looks like ~10 from just GvG for me, aka 75 RPs. Lets hope some HB pushes me over the top...
