WW 18 Siege of the Dragon! (Game Thread)

So this is probably 1-2-2-11 just on the grounds that 1-3-3-9 is way too many scum, the game was advertised as 16-21 people, and 1-2-2-11 (for 16 players) and 1-3-3-16 (for 21) are about the same ratio. Ok, so I have no idea how the ratios would work out with 18 or 19.

That makes it +++ more likely that zak is Q's partner since it's extra incentive for him to try and keep Q alive if he only has one partner. And also probably the day killer since "assassination" fits more with hunters than werewolves.

Someone should kill zakalwe tonight and eliminate his faction before he can day kill anyone else.

why would zak kill novice?

for that matter, why would Q kill novice? novice was actively trying to save Q, he never voted for him. Q even made the "novice is the only one being nice to me" comment.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Just because novice was a strong player who wasn't going to be lynched maybe.

Awesome, I got jumped on for picking up something ( the lack of clear alignment indicators) in the opening posts. This is eerily similar to how I picked up on convertible villagers in there will be blood game. Yeah, I was wolf that game, but I was in a faction that wasn't supposed to know.
Still, I didn't expect 2 factions - I just wanted to know what to call the supposed single one.

Since novice was basically confirming himself as a mason type, he'd probably be protected at night. The kill makes sense to preempt that I guess. But azza could have been killed as well.

We'll know more in a few hours. Pindicator - out of the q voters, who do you suggest is in the other faction?

So we just need to make sure enough elementals live to outnumber the scums. Assuming we lose azza and are down to 2 (fire, earth) that sounds as difficult as a normal game.

Zak is the clear frontrunner there. I was thinking mattimeo could also be in league but that doesnt make sense with the setup revelations. And zak was pushing alternative targets to Q all day. Zak, are you going to say anything btw? Been silent since Q was lynched.

With our scum groups of hunters and wolves... could one be responsible for the novice death? I'm wondering if hunters kill by day and wolves & sk kill by night. Will be interesting to see how many kills there are

He just said they knew each others alignment, not that they were all village. How do the elementals work Azza, do you have an elemental quicktopic?

Azza said that he knew the other elementals alignments, not that they all were town.
Are there elementals you know are scum, Azza? Can you reveal them? That seems too easy to be allowed, so maybe its worth seeing who you suspected if you can't

Pindicator, I want to reread before commenting and I haven't had the time for that yet.

I agree with Uberfish that 1-2-2-11 looks like a likely setup. I'm innocent, though.
If you know what I mean.

Well, a 1-2-2-11 setup would explain why Zakalwe would defend Qgqqqq so much, if he is indeed his teammate. Assuming Zak and Qgqqqq knew there were other bad factions (at least the SK was obvious, since it was in the rules), losing Qgqqqq would mean a likely defeat, because Zak is often targetted by nightkills and role scans. So, saving Qgqqqq was very important, almost an absolute for their team to win.

Lot of shaky premises in this thought, but I think is easier to justify a big defense by a scum buddy with a 2-men team setup than with a larger team. Especially considering Zakalwe's situation.

How would it work to know someone is scum but be prohibited from saying it - seems like there would be too big a risk someone would take liberties and spoil that knowledge. It would leave too much to a GM judgement call IMO, but I agree he didn't say all the elementals were innocent.
