WW 18 Siege of the Dragon! (Game Thread)

I'm pretty comfortable with voting for Zakalwe. Can't get past the defense of Qg.

Not entirely caught up, but I'll switch to Mattimeo.

I tracked him last night and he went nowhere. With all the active abilities popping up, I'm starting to realize that may be suspicious in itself. And no, my tracking ability is not the reason I'd make a terrible lynch.
Wow, that's really clutching at straws.
Dragon killed, Qgqqqq's surviving buddy killed, only possible scum that did nothing last night (assuming 11-2-2-1) would be Ichabod's mate - who might have been the one to kill novice anyway.

1. So, have finally all players realized that with all their super, incredible, awesome powers they are actual only one in many in this village? We are an anime-village, consisting of superheroes which are in search for treasure, pride and blood. Because to be quite honest, it starts to get a little bit annoying that everyone runs around and trys to make sure he will not get lynched because he has those immense useful powers and it would be really bad for the village. You know what would be bad for the village? To mislynch a villager, even he has a role without powers.

2. My MJW-vote: Selrahc is appearantly the only one who noticed it as well, so maybe I read to much into it. But his role is called "Village Demon" (no, that sounds wrong, MJW interchanged a word with village I would guess), that in itself makes me worry. But secondly and more importantly, his role-abilities. Jailer is easily the ability of a hunter (with his traps) and redirector I also see likely as a hunter-ability, but especially in this 3 scum-factions-setup it fits for scum. Village has protective roles as we know by the setup-post, but redirector is not a protective role in itself. As another point, that post from MJW is exactly what I assume is cracking under pressure for him. He is alone, has to fight for himself and suddenly several players vote for him. As village, he could take that much more lightly. So, all that together with his late switch to waterbat (which might very well indeed have been a try to save him) seals the deal for me.

@Azza: Just because he jailed you does not make him a villager. I have jailed zakalwe last game just for the reason that I can tell that I did it (and prove it), because it makes sense for village Serdoa to do that. You should remember wink Of course I died to early to ever use it, but on Day 3 I certainly would have got some fire for the Mattimeo-lynch and then would have "proven" with that ability and my use of it that I am village.

It's possible that Ichabod made the kill and Ichabod's partner did nothing though. I will say that it is unlikely. I do think that Zak's choice of lynch target in Mattimeo, after he has tracked him makes me more suspicious of Zak because it could be a ploy to move me off him. Also, a thing to keep in mind is that a "tracking" ability fits with the Hunters.

I'm leaving my vote on Zak for the moment, I have to go to a work shindig, but I'll be back well before bed.

BTW before I go I just wanted to acknowledge what Serdoa is saying about everyone having a power role because I agree with him. Keeping silent in order to better "stay alive" and "preserve your role" is only going to hurt the town. Not saying you need to reveal, but I am saying we need to be more active in discussions.

The difference was Zak wasn't a confirmed villager, and we didn't know if he had any power roles. Here, I was confirmed village, with an apparent double vote. Protecting me as a scum move makes no sense here. Leaves me alive if another scum targets me, and the expectation would be that I wouldn't have a night ability to block given that I appear to be a mason and appear to have a double vote ability.

Well, I don't suspect you of being Q's partner anyway. So if you're scum you're either the dragon or Ichabod's partner. I did check the writeup and it looks a lot to me like Ichabod was the one performing that kill.

If every townie has an active ability with unlimited shots (like me), then you would expect everybody to do *something* at night.

In any case, I'm hanging today, there's little doubt about that. At least this information is out there. I doubt you'll die tonight so maybe it will be useful tomorrow.
If you know what I mean.

Would anyone like to claim to not have an active night-time ability?

If nobody does, I think that means we should lynch Mattimeo.

Well, I don't have an active night-ability (or day-ability, for that matter).

Not entirely sure that's likely to sway your argument much, though...
