MH raise a good point about the fish by the wet corn on the CFC border. Do we want to try to found a city there to get that fish? I am inclined to say yes, let's try, but there are many things to consider. Any other thoughts?

I guess I'm feeling a little deceived by CFC about that. They made it sound like it was right next to their borders, and they'd claim it soon, and they didn't mention the stone or fish. Now it looks like that whole area is closer to us than to them.

Kalin It just adds yet another city spot we want to settle soon, after the SW city, Spices City and Stone City. Where would we slot this one in (I would say after Stone City)? The more we wait, the more likely we are to lose the fish to CFC. How many pressure can we apply via diplomacy to have CFC not go for the fish (I think, none.)
If the spot has gone to CFC before we reasonably can get a settler there, we will have to blame this on our initial barb luck, that impaired our scouting.

Now it looks like that whole area is closer to us than to them. Well, I still think the oasis marks the middle between our two capitals (they would be really stupid to lie about that). That locates the fish and the stone on their side of the agreed border. They had the advantage of better scouting and they asked us about a refinement of the border agreement and we told them we have not improved our scouting in this area. And virtually on the next turn they tell us they will settle there, knowing we are clueless about the stone and the fish. While certainly bad for us, I think we would have done the same in their shoes. But maybe we would have actually followed it up by settling there by now.

just posted this at CFC. Do we have a team response to this proposal?

That is not a bad idea (plako as admin assistant / deputy). I'll check with my RB colleagues re a formal team comment.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Plako would be so awesome as game admin (if he can be convinced to do it that is).

Just like we said before, I think we should fully support plako as an admin.

Hey guys - just got a request from Caledorn (as the game host, not a CFC member) requesting that we login and pause. Is anyone who logs in around right now to do so?

This. It's probably one of those jobs where being qualified to do it means you're too smart to take it.
