Just to summarize my reason for voting Rowain: He said we should lynch me even if I'm a villager. And I don't believe him when he says he believes that I'm scum. So in other words he wants to lynch a villager.

He's never argued why I'm scum either, only why my play could be scum. And he's never argued why it's more likely to be scum play than village play.
I have to run.

Upon reveiw rowain seems the safest bet.

Tasunke Not letting Rowain get lynched. You do realize that I made the argument before him? why didnt you jump me like you did him? Why only him? why are you trying to lynch him. I am not convinced by your reason.

Here goes, Serdoa:

So who has a good enough chance to be scum to outweight the risk of lynching a villager? Our back and forth has drawn too much talk so far (which makes it in itself already a good move for scum) but I think there are some names worth a closer inspection.

Well, probably good you called me out on that, because i didn't read this thoroughly the first time. I took the bolded bit and glossed over the rest, so boo on that example. But this later one is the one i had in mind:

(January 5th, 2013, 07:23)Rowain Wrote: Yes getting rid of the card trumps lynching a random villager. Are you of different opinion? You rather want the card in play and lynch a villager?

So it could just be a lazy re-writing of the first point. Enough that i don't think that is his guilt all in one.
But his lack of hunting today while just pushing novice as a "safe" lynch is enough that i feel better about him than Selrahc as being scum.

Re: seer - yeah, i over-stated my opinion. I just don't think we should weigh the seer's results as divine will. Between the Fool Card and the possibility of the Ouija Board falling into scum hands, i don't think we should disregard the old fashioned scum-hunting that has produced before. One thing i'm afraid of is people putting so much stock into the Ouija result that they get lazy in their hunting and just rely on that without considering who is saying the result. Scum could use the Ouija to out another scum and buy deep cover. Or they could just sit on the board and not use it. Far riskier to say someone is scum when they are village, but that may be a late-game ploy.

Anyway, point is to not blindly follow the board results, but to consider the bigger picture.

No you didn't.
Honestly you have basically been piggy-backing on others trains.
I don't like your play, but you don't feel scummy like rowain.

Not much has happened. Zz I'm okay Zak's defense of my attack against him (him not talking about Ryan). Speaking about Ryan his post #246 'worst gaming experience ever' seems to be going to far; unless he is just some kid. His post #299 randomly quoting what the silk-vest does also seems strangely pointless.

I really think Rowain is not guilty because his attack against Novice feels sincere to me even if I don't agree with it. And that would be hard to do as wolf. If novice+rowain are both wolfs the play is a bit aggersive. If Rowain is a wolf and Novice is a villager its hard to rip into a innocent villager like that right at the start of the game.

Novice's logic on post #346 is flawed as the scrys are not random. However, this is probably just bad logic and not a wolf slip-up of some sort. Speaking about the card saga...

If the village is tottaly unsure of who the wolfs are novice is a good target as day1 is a likely mislych anyway. At least we get rid of the fool card and might even hit a wolf! If not novice is a rather "meh" target at best. The vig shooting novice at night is okay as it happens before an item is stolen. (I think it counts as item useage not as 'night kill'--notice that there is only one night kill). It would also protect us from being screwed over by the jailer if the mafia has one--preventing novice from passing the card. If the vig shoots and misses it proves novice was jailed and not lying.

I think that's enough ranting of the 'novice fool card saga' for now.
