As a tie-breaker between Tasunke and Rowain it mattered to me. He said it was a powerful item. If he passes the item on to someone else, that player might be able to back him up. Also, having a powerful item might be consistent with trying to attract some suspicion. But I guess what I'm really saying is I'm having some doubts about him, even if he hasn't really addressed my accusation.

About Rowain, I think that post where he addressed the people voting for him was a little try-hard. It's the kind of post a scum thinks the town wants to see, but he just ended up pointing fingers at everybody. He could just be his stubborn town self, too, of course. I still prefer Rowain over Selrahc, though.

Unless he has the board this is flawed. The scum are not allowed to stack items on one person. And avoiding a lych for scum is so strong that it drowns out any item on its face (save for the vig gun).

From my perspective, I think the multiple defences that have been posted about me have been pretty much on the ball. Serdoa is being too literal/prescriptive about something that was more abstract/rhetorical. In general, I'm going to be talking in terms of impression, unless I bring up direct quotes.

I thought item passing would happen before the lockpick, but maybe I got that wrong? We don't know for sure that scum have the lockpick, anyway.

zak, as long as he does not claim the board than it doesn't matter if his item is powerful or not as it does not tell us anything about his alignment. So, do I understand your last sentence right that you actually realized that yourself but just wanted to come up with a reason why not to vote Tasunke because you doubt that vote?
