I've done minor edits also tile utilisation. However we're not commerce restricted i.e. can also delay Calendar to T99 we can be very flexible concerning utilised tiles. We can e.g. work more cottages and less Specialists. I think our next Great Person should come out from HN so working Specialists there is good idea at least after growing to happy cap.

I played through up to T100 and confirmed that the worker micro is accurate. I just corrected a couple of typos like "cottage 2" to "cottage 1". So we're good.

Not sure we should finish calendar earlier than necessary though. I don't think we need the spices one turn earlier. So the workers in the north should pass a bit more time before moving to the spices.

The sandbox is up 3 gold, otherwise accurate.

Plako, I see you filled in a plan for OTR. I think it makes more sense to whip the lighthouse before the spear, though?

I was just thinking lost decaying hammers since it seems we'll have plenty of food and happy cap is the real problem to get Moai up.

After thinking maybe we could do this without Lighthouse after all, as you suggested initially and build it after the Moai during Golden Age. We're just growing too fast to happy cap and can't stagnate building workers/settlers. We could whip WB and 2* spear and then build rest of the Moai manually. Getting it in ~15T instead of 20T needed by my version. In that case we should use 5->3 whips and keep crabs, fish and mine all the time as worked tiles.

Again, I haven't simmed anything here so I'm just throwing out questions, but:

why not? Can't we whip workers/settlers into Moai then?
I have to run.

Here it is EOT113, without actually whipping it to completion. smile

Four hammers into spear this turn, whip workboat next turn, overflow 28 hammers into lighthouse, put some hammers into a galley, then build the moai on all turns that we aren't whipping. Grow to 4, whip lighthouse, grow to 5, whip spear, grow to 5, whip galley. That final turn is the only one where we work the plains, otherwise it's just the sea tiles and the mine.

As Zakalwe has pointed out lighthouse is problematic because of its base cost 60 hammers, when we want max overflow from it. We need to invest ~6T of hammers to it before we can whip. If we want Moai in 15T we need to either whip 4 times or give up Lighthouse. If we settle for 20T, then we can easily fit Lighthouse in.

edit. crosspost with Zakalwe. Acftually 3 whip with Lighthouse is just 2-3T slower than the Zakalwe's example above. It includes quite a bit of turns where plains tile should be worked though.

The EOT113 date above isn't so bad, and that includes a lighthouse. Even if we don't get any inherent overflow from whipping the lighthouse, the lighthouse gives us more food to convert to hammers via the other whips.

We should have ivory and sugar on-line too, at that point, so the city would be in pretty decent shape. And if we're already in a golden age at that point, we won't have to work the plains either.

We could also whip a lighthouse, a spear, and an axe. That should be even faster. Depends on how much we want a galley.

After closer look I like the latest plan from Zakalwe. Overflowing to Lighthouse from WB is good idea and assuming we get lots of happiness resources online soon 4 whips is manageable. There are 4 tiles that we want to work all the time after Moai is ready and that is accomplished already with silks and spices and we could speed up things turn or 2 via building axe instead of Galley.

If we whip a lighthouse, a spear, and an axe, we get it EOT111:

So if we'll be in a golden age by then, and think the galley can wait, this is perhaps better.
