[SPOILERS] TT tries yet again to not be terrible

In terms of leaders maybe Jowy & Azza are a little weaker, but I think their civs bring them back up quite a bit.

Praetorians are harder to counter than most units of that era and if Jowy gets Ivory then his Ballista Elephants are going to be pretty scary (especially as all other WEs look like they will be banned!). Plus Jowy isn't a big fan of me so if he has a chance to attack me then he will more than likely take it!

ah, yes, good point. Is it a randomly rolled map? If so, Ivory is generally not abundant so chances are Jowy won't be able to use his UU. the Baray is quite nice, not many buildings give you food straight up smile.

The Praet is always a concern, yes. we'll have to see what the map gives us.

pb8 spoiler. lurkers playing in pb8, don't read:
hah, Azza is Rome in pb8 as well. we solved the praet problem by razing his Iron city and replanting it. if you can deny him Iron you don't have to worry about praets, haha. If that fails you just have to build a lot of axes, ick. I think I'd prefer just not starting next to him this time.

Nope, after thinking on it, I actually like TT's the best. Isabella is awesome. Huayna would have been better if there wasn't 2 other INDs maybe.

Drafting Musketeers + mass whipping Knights is one of the most fun ways to play. It's cheat mode basically.

So... looks alright though right now no food that fits our starting techs

Scout move at the moment I think should be S-SW or SW-SW to see if there is any seafood or grains S of the hills.

If there's another food out there, this would be a pretty good capital for SIP with 4 hills and plenty of farmable/cottageable grasslands

yuck. well the hill SW would allow the 1 lake tile to be light-housed. so lets hope the scout reveals something. I'd say SW, SW with the scout. or, if you think it needs improvement the scout could move NW and the settle SW, and just accept settling on turn one with a lot more information.
