@ Serdoa. It will help us in lynching wise if we know the two old power roles. By old i mean the first item holders. Since if you use the gun or the seer you have to pass the next night. Which happened yesterday. That means that there is a new vigi and a new seer. The old vigi and the old seer are at no risk if they reveal thier roles. They also help us lynch since we will get more confirmed towns that way. You may argue that that the scum will claim or counter claim them. Then they are limited to four players we can judge instead of looking at the list of remaining ones. Also the vigi will be able to choose from a smaller list. I dont think we lose anything Serdoa unless I am missing something. If the Seer passed it to the person he checked. Simply dont say who you checked just give us the knowledge you are the seer.

Look back at the last game, and how everybody wanted to lynch me on day 2. I only got off the hook because Waterbat (who was scum, thankfully) had already poisoned me on day 1. How much passion did you see from me then?

Don't you see the hypocrisy in blaming me both for "leading" a mislynch yesterday, and for not sticking my neck out to push anyone?

I think I am gonna go for Selrahc finally. Azza is gonna either be vigi killed hopefully.... Or I am gonna lynch him tomorrow. I am out of rythm with what I was trying to get out of Zak now. Now if the old item holders reveal some good info. I might change the Selrahc vote but he has been alive for way to long and we are in the pretty deep wrong for keeping it like that.

I'll go now through your post nearly sentence for sentence Ryan, to explain you why I don't agree with you.

Only if you target one of them. Otherwise it won't. And of course they will claim (and hopefully with a little bit more time on the clock than half an hour) if that happens.

They are at risk to be killed in the night. Without them revealed, scum has to kill me or make a blind shot. Both is better for us than giving them several targets to choose from. Why? Because this way we can get a good idea about the cloaks alignment. And even if they shoot in the dark instead of killing me, it helps because we keep a confirmed villager. Even if the kill one of the old holders it doesn't matter, because if you lose them or me is in gist the same thing: You lose a confirmed villager.

They also help us lynch since we will get more confirmed towns that way.

Again, what does that help you? You believe from all you wrote that one of Selrahc and Azza are scum. Ok, fine with me. But what does it help you now if you know that for example zak is the seer and pindi the vig? That should not change anything about your lynch-vote. And their opinion is no more correct than that it is now. Thats what I exactly already also stated for my person: Only because I am confirmed does not mean I am right. It just means you can be certain that I do not try to lie to you. But it doesn't mean that I can't be wrong still.

So no, they do not help us at all to lynch.

The first part won't be argued by me. The second part is actually the only reasoning I was told so far that makes sense. The new vig would have a smaller sample of players to shoot and the new seer a smaller sample of players to scan. Hm, interesting. Though what if the new vig is scum? They could kill the old vig and we wouldn't even know whom he passed the gun too. So than again, it might be better to keep quiet.

So, conclusion

- it won't help us for lynch
- it will give us 2 (3 with seer-scan) confirmed villagers
- it will make it easier for seer and vig to decide whom to shot
- but if new vig is scum, they can kill 2 confirmed villagers this night

Actually, I think whoever are the old vig and old seer, they should decide themselves if they claim today or tomorrow.

Guys I think Ryan's PM is a fake. When you quote a pm by copying and pasting there is an extra space and the "------" show up. It would be extremely unnaturally for someone to delete the extra space and the "-----" because it makes the msg harder to read for no reason at all. An example is below. I have some stuff to take care of so I will go over the thread and react to in within an hour or so.
