Honestly I think Lewwyn is our only serious contender left in this game. Then again it's a diplo game with a lot of territory to be "liberated", so there are lots of possibilities to screw up.

I had a vague recollection that when PB7 started up HAK hadn't played for a while - just skimmed the setup thread for that game & yeah, he says something about first game in over 2 years. Not sure how much experience he's got since then, of course. Skimmed the start of his thread for that game too & he doesn't much like to analyse things or look things up - more of a do what seems good at the time player.

So that's a long-winded way of saying I think you're right & it's not that he's fooling you

At any rate I don't think we promised them a gift? A trade would be negotiable.

They could use it for NE and TOA, I think. Anything I'm missing? We want it back before Taj, obviously.

Which I think I read at the time as "we give them marble while they give us stone" but obviously that's not a decent trade any more coz we got our own stone But it's pretty vague, so I dunno if we can fish for anything in return or if we have effectively promised a gift. Equally, that also means maybe the concession he makes is that he waits another 12 turns till T110?

That's a good point I agree with that as a plan.
