[spoilers] Commodore: Worse than Toku, it's Giggles of Siam!

Just been catching up with the threads. Your thread remains awesomely entertaining.

I have mixed feeling about the death of Mindy's Minions. I took down an Impi on flatland YEAH! But then I died. Looking forward to resurrection as the captain of a catapult of heard of 'phants.

Nanu-nanu! lol Try this instead:

No knives, but if you'll look closely Mindy's Company of axemen are among the forces in the Greatwood. I can't promise they won't be worn as gauntlets and battered to bits as with all other forces, but I'll at hurl Novice's Battalion into the meatgrinder first.

Basically, the model of warfare here is grind, grind, grind while throwing feints and punches to sides to try and slip something in. One more turn, and then its only HBR unlocked to enable the heaviest grinders available in the world until the Medieval Era.

Hadn't noticed that! Looks like prior valor got me a promotion.

Just put me on flatland, I'll take out that shock-GG. You'll notice that that's a terrorized Zulu in the reflection. hammer

Indeed. We'll have you even kill the GG on the hill soon...painfully whipped my score waaay down this turn, but lots of cats are coming from the overflow. Three next turn, and more soon after.

Oh, chariots available in two turns, they'll be Hookland Charger-led. And horse archers in roughly 9 turns, as well. wink

Pity the 'mids fell...we could have rushed them with our bricks. Um, so Scooter was going to do the same thing, and so he unloaded and tried...

yikesyikesyikes

So this is why you lurkers were are hooting and honking, eh? As you can see above, they also whipped Zaxby's. Lessee...axe, impi, or archer?

Let's see if we can handle the impi/chariot incoming! It's workers and archers vs. RAIDERS! We got lots, though.

Scooter's argahs of sorrow in chat were quite harrowing.

OMFG.

lol

0.1 health on the galley? whooboy. that was close.

We'll need to offload the axes somewhere innocent next turn if they whipped a galley. wink

Serves 'em right for not going worker first with an improvable 6f land tile. tongue

Not necessarily. If they whipped a galley in Zaxby it doesn't move until AFTER you move. If you can kill the city, the galley would die too ... and a galley whipped from any other city could not reach your galleyin 1-turn. I'd imagine they'll be whipping military of some sort (axe) to defend Zaxby rather than a galley though.
