At least we'll get the Great Merchant next turn to bulb Currency!
We have to take pictures of that!
And hopefully we can get rid of those barb Galley's.

The turn starts off well...
I looked over the save (mainly to get the info I need to update the sim) but except for killing that annoying barb, we still need to play the turn. We're back to settler in 3t and we will soon net the fish again. I need to re-examine the micro so I can see how quick we can get out a trireme from CC (won't whip improved tiles) and FG (we really need the galley so netting the fish will have to wait). Also think IW would be a good candidate to get out a trireme to send down towards FoF and CG. Will post again shortly.

Took a look ingame.
Where did the second barb Galley go to?
We can get both the Settler and the Worker in 3T if we don't work one of the cottages for those 3T. Is that worth it?
If not, we should delay the worker for 1T.
Nothing to add at this moment. Wonder what Currency will do to our GNP.

Nothing to add at this moment. Wonder what Currency will do to our GNP. Not sure where the barb galley went. I'll need to take another look to even take a guess. Next turn we re-net the fish and switch tiles to speed up the worker (so both finish T109) like so... Quote:T107 net fish; FoF - work fish+crab+3 lakes+village+mine+PH mine; settler in 2t
>> CG - work crab+shared crab+sheep+mine+hamlet+run priest; worker in 2t
Currency adds 8 bpt (will only increase as we found more cities) @ 100% science. I tweaked the micro to improve our science. We delay the axe from SM (but can whip if we had to) but we need a trireme first anyway. The axe will be ready for the next settling party in any case (the chariot is fine for the northern corn site for now). IW will want to do a trireme as well so the granary can wait. What I propose... Quote:T106 SM build wealth (5 gpt)
T107 net fish; FoF - work fish+crab+3 lakes+village+mine+PH mine; settler in 2t
>> CG - work crab+shared crab+sheep+mine+hamlet+run priest; worker in 2t
>> FG - pig comp.; switch fish to pig; growth to sz 2 in 2t
T108 MS - whip WB; growth to sz 2 in 1t
>> IW @ sz 3 - add mine; growth to sz 4 in 6t; build wealth (5 gpt)
>> SM @ sz 3 - add lake; growth to sz 4 in 8t
>> FoF - winery comp.; switch lake to winery
>> wkr 3 roads pig (2t)
T109 settler comp. and moves to ??? (needs name); build WB (for shared crab); switch mine to corn and PH mine to hamlet; growth to sz 9 in 1t
>> CG - wkr #4 comp. and moves to 1 NW of FoF; build worker (5t); switch hamlet to crab
>> SM - switch lake to farm; growth to sz 4 in 5t
>> FG @ sz 2 - add fish; growth to sz 3 in 3t (if fish netted); if all clear then net fish and protect with galley
>> ~30% science to finish MC in 1t
======
T110 MC finished; switch builds in IW/SM/FG to triremes. Both IW and SM will be able to 1 pop whip the triremes T114 @ sz 4.
Still working on micro for T110 on. I have a rough plan (i.e. axe+settler+trireme+WB for Clam City) plus another settler (jungle pig? or do we try for the silk?) but not satisfied yet. It would be nice to get Hinduism to IW but we need at least an additional axe (two if we go for the silk) so that might not be possible. Also need to see what the other barb galley is up to (and the micro at FG depends a lot on what happens up there).

Bulbed Currency but didn't get a pop up for whatever reason...which turned out to be a good thing (otherwise wouldn't have noticed Serdoa declared war on Space this turn)...
Space has 269 gold right now making 23 gpt. For comparison, we make 71 gpt (at max tax). Serdoa has 1g and makes 1 gpt so obviously he is NOT binary researching which means he is either trying to hide his gpt (science rate) or he is researching a high priority tech that he doesn't want to be beat to. Hard to say at this point. T106 demos...
Nice GNP but we really need to spam military and settlers. We should be able to get another three cities by ~T122 or so (which would bring us to ten).
@ Nakor : Didn't end the turn yet. You might see something I missed. I looked at the power graphs and Serdoa does show some power buildup but is it enough to really wage war on Space? Or did his scouting WB get trapped? We need to be on the lookout for any possible schenanigans on Serdoa's part.

Looking good.
Just two questions:
* Why not net the fish at FG now and guard it with the Galley?
* Is it really worth it to build wealth for MC 1 turn sooner? I don't think it will make much of a difference and would like to get that axe without whipping.
Moved the Chariot in FG to cover the worker. We don't want to be surprised there.
Not much to add. Didn't end turn yet.

Not much to add. Didn't end turn yet. We can net the fish now. Wasn't sure if you wanted to take the risk or not. It is worth building wealth for a few turns in SM but we don't have to. We'll finish the axe first np.
I'll make the changes (net fish and switch SM back to axe) and then end the turn.

Sorry for not being available for a few days had a very busy week at the office. Tbh I don't understand that war declaration at all unless neither of them has Alpha yet. Serdoa does not look that powerful at the moment...

We found out where the other barb galley was...hiding in the fog above FG...
Unfortunately, with only .1 health left, our galley had to duck back into FG to heal (5t for full health). I suppose Serdoa is going for navigation bonus. Still need to be wary though. Looking at IW again, I see no reason not to whip the granary next turn...we could then grow on the sheep+oasis (building wealth) while we wait on MC. After the whip, it would only take 4t to grow back to sz 3. Probably forgo the LH and build military until we can get Hinduism spread there to get the OR bonus. I'd also rather mine the desert hill and work that than work coast tiles since we need the production for military units.
We're second to last to play so I'll go ahead and end the turn.
