And btw: I LOVE the plan to get SH, if at all possible. Thats just such a great wonder to have, especially on Quick, as you simply can ignore if a city has nothing in the first ring, as long as the second ring is good, thats great.
Also, have you thought about settling up northwest? It seems one city 1NE of the crabs and another one 1W,1NW would be another to get marble, opening up several possibilities. Maybe not necessary right now (Oracle?) but a little bit later for GLib and MoM. Also both cities could work several cottages (5 and 4) + coast which is certainly good enough with FIN to drive your research.

Glad you like the Stonehenge plan. I like quite a few of the cities in our N and NW but I think we're really hoping to find Horses or Copper for city 3. If it isn't in a good location, then no problem.
Also, note that Whosit's last plan isn't what the plan is now. We chatted last night and already made change. Primarily, I don't think it's worth working the cottage over hte improved cow even if it makes BW comes one turn faster.

I'm not sure how to send the save directly to you, Serdoa. I don't think I can PM it to you, but I think Dazed has your e-mail, so maybe he can get it to you.
And yeah, the plan keeps changing~ Dazed and I are planning on figuring out exactly what the new plan is going to be, though if you're around and still have those charts he thought it might be easier to figure out what's optimal by plugging in the numbers rather than playing through each possible scenario.
The question is pretty much what to do when the city grows to size 3. I think the last plan we had was to work improved cow, and dump a turn of production into a Warrior to get to size 4, then resume the Settler. Dazed, correct me if I misremembered.

Does it make sense to grow to 4 before you go on with the settler? You don't intend to whip it right away, you don't have a good production-tile to grow into either, so you are stuck with working the cow, sheep, deer and the cottage on size 4. You delay the settler by probably 3 turns I'd guess to grow, but you won't speed it up at all by growing to 4. It is just a little bit more commerce and I believe research won't be your issue long-term. Keeping up in expansion right now though will.

Look, I got no clue. I've been through so many plan and micro revisions in the last couple days that I can't even remember what is what. :P I'm pretty sure I tried going ahead without growing to size 4, but I can't remember how that one turned out. All I remember is that I did a thing trying to get back on track with your plan and ended up more or less where we were supposed to be. I built a mine/chopped the forest on the hill to our SE--can't remember if that was part of your plan or not.
I am also pretty sure that to get Stonehenge quickly, all workers have to be close to the capital after BW finishes, and assuming they do the actions I'm anticipating, I was going to make a picture guide to what I think is the best chopping strategy to get it done.

The current plan is grow to size 3 not 4 cuz 4 is definitely a delay for no gain. If you mean finishing the settler before the currently queued warrior, then I haven't played that out enough to know for sure.

Okay, question guys. I know techs are 6 points. What is pop? I've seen 4 and 5 point increases a couple of times, both apparently correlated to city growth. Is the point value different depending on odd/even city size? (Commodore's city is size 4 now, he gained 5 points.) He grew from 3 to 4 in two turns, too.

Pop growth (as well as tech, wonders and land points) are calculated by looking at a number you find ingame on the scoreboard when you hover over our name. Divide 5000 by that number and you get the value for one pop-point. Same for wonders (but there it is always 5000/310). Land points and techs are the same, but you have divide 2000 by the number you find on the scoreboard. I can provide those as soon as I looged into the save Dazed sent me.
