As a side note, could you point me towards somewhere that could explain how this whole forum setup works?
Perhaps some guide you guys made for 1st time u did this
I don't think we've had enough interest for another game at the moment.
And there is no guide cause this is the first time we're doing it so we probably don't know what all we're doing anyways.

Renlen - You're probably better off registering interest in this thread - it seems more of a hub for collecting interest than this one, as this seems more devoted to the organising of a game with set people already.

It's probably sponsored by the King, and is more a clearinghouse for things that people are willing to pay to have done, than an independent player in politics. As long as I'm getting paid well enough for my endeavours, I'm good with whatever justifications are required. Someone is likely to be pointing me at stuff to kill / requisition anyway, whether it's the king, his cronies, or someone who'd be coming along with the mission.

Any chance that Matt and I could be from the same place? We could establish a childhood connection, then seperated over time, then one day I get a message from him asking for help. I help him out of a jam and then we decide together that we'll join up with a merc guild.
BTW Matt you should totally get some tear away clothing.

So, Mardoc, are you going to require things like checking for encumbrance, and supplies for making camp at night? I think I'm going to have a good bit of money left, so I might get us a wagon and tents and bedrolls and such...

It's OK BRick, you wear it *over* your normal clothes, as a disguise.
Though I suppose a shift made that way could come in useful to someone who practiced that other type of mercenary work...

A <Profession>'s Kit will usually contain bedrolls, flint and tinder, and other basics. Tents could possibly be useful though.

i would suggest warm clothes ... Damara is on the edge of the Glacier and the climate is mild tundra, with short cool summers and long freezing winters, the woodland Game consists of primarily Raindeer

You sure it wasn't you employing / pressing an obligation on me to help you out with all those pesky traps you somehow keep falling foul of without spotting, oh Wise and Wizardly One?
I'm good with the being from the same place thing though. I was thinking Myth Drannor, depending on dates. I think I'd have to be unfeasibly young to have been born there since it was re-conquered, but a fairly young child (by elf standards) being orphaned by said conflict and subsequently raised by the state could be feasible dependent on the current year.
