(A bit rushed, and I didn't check beakers, but otherwise I think it's accurate.) I suggest putting the whip overflow in Weissbier into SoZ instead of a galley. I also suggest setting OTR to build wealth, preserving 7h overflow from moai. It can dump that into SoZ on the next turn. (Ramune is building a worker this turn and next.) Later on, maybe 2-whip a worker from White Russian, overflowing into SoZ? Or 3-whipping a settler would perhaps be ideal, but I'm not sure how much overflow we can get from that, as we're just about to grow to 4 now. Btw, Plako: remember to check tile assignments after whipping, especially when workers/settlers are involved. We exchanged 3 hammers for 2 commerce in Weissbier, which wasn't a very good trade. Keep WIFOM growing slowly for the next few turns, so OTR can pass it and get the representation happiness. OTR needs to be a full size bigger. If they're the same size, city order will take precedence and give it to WIFOM instead.
If you know what I mean.
In weissbier we worked copper and wheat. I changed tile assignments after ending turn. At least I think I did that, but something might have gone wrong naturally.
Nice overview post, Pling.
I can see how Astronomy might be worthwhile, the central sea is actually quite large:

Ah, well done then, and sorry for nitpicking. ![]() Yeah, the central sea is large, and there should be a lot of land tiles unaccounted for still, I think, if anyone wants to do a count.

Writing just some things up for the next turn:
* Whip FW from Ramune * Build SoZ somewhere - any opinions? * Whip monastery in Bitter * workers near new city improve horse. We're probably better of not whipping or chopping granary * workers on wheat finish cottage and road it to get better movability * when should we turn science on? * opinions + what else?
Did you save the overflow in OTR with a wealth build? If so, build SoZ there. If not, maybe in HN? Or in BM.
Another note for your list: keep WIFOM growing slowly for now. With HG, WR should be size 6 before long, so maybe get our next settler there. Settle east of the marble? Or the fish site NE of the capital. (Probably both.)
If you know what I mean.
Great news about HG! What a freeroll.
Are we settling e.g. 3W of our Taj Mahal city in addition to the marble city, to grab the last bit of land up there, or are we happy with our current share of the center? We also need to settle the islands and the city 2E of the sugar.
I have to run.
Just want to say good job to Plako for turnplaying, diploing, microing, and putting up with all the armchair quarterbacking for all this time.
![]() Also good job to Pling for the C&D and overview reporting. I forgot to compliment you on the last report; great stuff as always. I'm not too fussed with how much resourceless land we grab in the center. Let's just do whatever makes our borders most defensible, and get our last core cities settled. I guess we should also settle the island south of OTR before Gillette gets cute. I think we need two more city names? It's perhaps not very inspired, but Gin Tonic and Vodka Martini both make for nice two-letter abbreviations.
