When a feat says it requires +6 base attack bonus ... I assume that means from both ability scores AND class? or is it just from your class levels?

Next question, Reloading a weapon is normally a free action yes? Are there any situations when it would not be considered a free action? I can't think of any tbh, unless maybe I was stunned, fatigued, or fascinated (or some other ill status effect)
My character sheet is here as a google docs spreadsheet. Call it, umm, preliminarily finished? With Sian's patient help I think I have things in the boxes I think I need things in (and I even have a fair idea of why I have particular things and what they mean
![]() I've got some last questions tho: I'm having trouble spending all the money - Sian talked me through what weapons/armour to get, and gave me pointers for things to spend the rest on. And I went through & looked, and I spent about 650. I then decided to add in a Wand of Cure Light Wounds (coz Sian had suggested we put a point into Use Magic Device when we were doing Mara's skills, so that I could get one of those & be a backup healer in case of emergency) which I think comes in at 750 and so fits within Mardoc's single item limit. Anyone any suggestions of things I've missed or just stuff that would be good for the group? I could just go through the wondrous items list & pick up some bits & pieces that look nifty but that doesn't seem quite right if there might be more practical things ![]() (I'm also not sure if I checked what the source for any of the equipment was ![]() A more specific question: in the Rogue's Kit were some things that I didn't want coz they don't fit with Mara's backstory. So I tried to buy the stuff I did want separately - I couldn't find flint & steel, grappling hook or pitons listed individually. Maybe I'm being blind, but can anyone point me at them so I can find price/weight ![]() For languages - I put a point into the Linguistics skill so I think I needed to choose one more than just Common. I went for Dwarven coz there are Dwarves in Impiltur which is the country she's been travelling through. Do I need to pick any more? @Mardoc specifically: Am I allowed to have "Rapid Shot" as a feat when I'm using a light crossbow? Sian wasn't sure which way you'd want to rule on that.

Is leaf armor allowed? I'm going to assume yes due to the nearby druids, and the fact that I have at least 1 level in Ranger. (as of now at least)
Might I add that I find living expenses to be extremely under-rated.
I have two theories for this. 1) its a game 2) I am seriously jealous of the pre-industrial age Edit: I suppose another answer for this is that Weapons are supposed to be restricted from the populace, and therefore most 'battle gear' is asymmetrically expensive compared to what would be normal in an egalitarian society, and adventurers just happen to be rich due to loot + hazard pay. |
