I personally haven't researched them, but my friends who play lots of Pathfinder say that "archetypes are a horizontal move, that usually make the character a bit weaker overall, to be a bit stronger in a small area, and increase a link between mechanics and roleplay"

Linking mechanics and roleplay, without causing any balance issues? Sold!
Yep, archetypes are allowed as of now. Just run it by me first. Tasunke, Archer is approved.

that sounds like what my opinion was for the vast majority of ACF's in the later parts of 3.5 ... there were a few of them that was badly balanced (as in ... stupid overpowered) but the vast majority would net give a very slight power drop for something closer to what the player would like to focus on

I'm going to assume yes due to the nearby druids, and the fact that I have at least 1 level in Ranger. (as of now at least)You mean Darkleaf cloth? Yes, if you can afford it. Double price if you're a person who can't get along with either druids or elves. also, Darkleaf cloth leather armour costs 760g :'( -- Don’t forget.

Yes, Leaf Armor costs 500 gp, and it says the Druids make it as well. Not sure if its out of Darkleaf cloth or not, but my guess is its a separate yet similar material (or, perhaps that is their most basic darkleaf cloth armor, at a more modest price).
Not really certain tbh, but its comparable to a Hide Shirt (with the slight increase in effectiveness balanced by the 2500% increase in cost. (from 20 gp to 500 gp)) (February 6th, 2013, 16:51)Tasunke Wrote: Yes, Leaf Armor costs 500 gp, and it says the Druids make it as well. Found it - yes, approved under same caveat - if you can get along with druids or elves, you can have it for list. Quote:also, Darkleaf cloth leather armour costs 760g :'( ![]()
